CVU said…In 1994, CVU faculty, administration, and school board said:
“Let each student decide what to learn. What we care about is that each
student knows how to learn.”
“They can learn anything they want and then demonstrate their learning through a paper and presentation.”
So…
Three Ways to Learn• By doing• By reading• By interviewing experts
Grad Challenge integrates learning from all three sources: people, published material, and experience.
How do I get the most out of Grad Challenge?
• Choose something you want to learn about• Check out a job/career or area of interest that
you may want to study in college• Set deadlines for yourself and meet them• Schedule regular meetings with your Advisor• Create a mentoring relationship with your
Community Consultant by being reliable, prepared, and making progress.
• Consider Academic Internship – earn GC, English and do an extended internship
