    A panel of experts in particular areas will provide their opinions by answering some particular questions put in front them by the person who identified the problem. Steps are

  • DELPHI METHOD:

    Compiling information on a new questionnaire and sending to each panel member for review.Analyzing the new input and returning to the panel members the distribution of the responses.Asking each panel member to study the data and evaluate their own position based on the responses from the group. Analyzing the input, and sharing the minority supporting statements with the panel.

  • 1ST ROUND OF EXPERT OPINION

    Questions:

    Which age group usually uses smartphone?Which age group usually uses ATM cards?Geographically who are users of smartphone?Geographically who are users of ATM cards?

  • ANALYSIS of 1ST ROUND:From the responses received from the experts, it can be inferred that the customer of the app will be in the age range of 20-50 years. People using both Smartphone and ATM cards will be the customers for such app. The app may be popular among urban people of municipal areas where ATM booths are easily available.

  • 2ND ROUND OF EXPERT OPINION

    Questions:

    What do you think about the feasibility of the product in the market?How do you think the product needs to be promoted?

  • ANALYSIS OF 2ND ROUND:According to all the experts opinions, this app is feasible for the market initially, but it may turn around, because people may not be interested to pay for it in the long run. But this problem can be mitigated through some measures like proper pricing strategy, excellence in service etc. Most of the experts suggested some common platforms for promotional activities like social network ads, webpage interface, cellphone sms to potential buyers, and advertisements in common media like electronic and print media.

  • 3RD ROUND OF EXPERT OPINION

    Questions:

    What percentage of People can be reached through the promotion?How many People are likely to buy the product?What can be the unique features that would attract the buyers?

  • ANALYSIS OF 3RD ROUND:According to the expert opinions, around 70% of the total ATM card and smartphone users of Bangladesh can be reached through advertisement and promotional activities among which around 10% would be attracted to buy the product. The total number of ATM card and smartphone users in our country is around 1.5 million. The expert panel thinks that around 1.05 million customers can be reached and the number of buyers will be approximately 0.105 million in the first year. The added features that would attract the buyers can be SMS services to locate nearest ATM booths and an offer of a 15 days free trial period.
