CityJet is an equal opportunities employer Job Title: Operations Customer Coordinator Department: Ground Operations Location: Swords Job Type: Full Time Permanent Recruitment Source: Internal/External. The Role Reporting to the Head of Ground Operations, this is a new role within the Operations Control Centre (OCC) to continually ensure customer service standards delivered via passenger handling are met and exceeded. This role will be an operational role and will require cover 365 days per year. Hours of cover will be from 0500-2300hrs. Duties & responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Ground Operations, the successful candidate will: Act as a central point of contact and support for the airport ground handling agents representing CityJet customers ensuring a consistent open communication channel. Identify and coordinate with the OCC team, Station Managers and ground handling agents on alternative recovery plans during flight disruption management to ensure minimum impact on CityJet customers. Identify flights with specific commercial requirements on a daily basis and coordinate accordingly with the relevant departments including non scheduled flights. Ensure customers are provided regular flight status updates via SMS, Email and website, by coordinating with the OCC team and the e-commerce department. Monitor and report on all airport ground handling agents to ensure customer service standards are delivered as per CityJet policies and procedures. Invoice approval as assigned by the Head of Ground Operations. Produce reports on a weekly basis to analyse station baggage performance. Prorate all baggage related charges as per CityJet procedures. Qualifications / Skills / Competencies Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Ability to work a shift roster. Proven experience in customer service and/or ground operations. Strong understanding of Regulation EC261/2004 and any other applicable legislation. High level of accuracy/attention to detail. Good working knowledge of computer applications and systems knowledge to include Amadeus, iPort DCS, Worldtracer (an advantage). Effective problem solving and ability to prioritise duties on a day to day basis. Proven influencing skills.
