The transmitter ST-2A, is designed to require minimum maintenance. Sincetransis tors are so ldered in p lace and submin iature techniques are used in theconstruct ion of the unit , l i t t le field maintenance is possible. I t is recom¬mended that, with the exception of minor repairs, such as broken leads andloose connections, etc., all mintenanee and troubleshooting be conducted inalaboratory. Sectional construct ion is used, where pract ical, in order tomake each component easi ly accessib le for serv ic ing.
