COMPRESSION MECHANISMFinal partition closure is done using an expanding jamb, providing superior acoustic performance while matching the panel finish.

FRAME COLOURSCorflex offers an extensive choice of frame colours to match the panel finish. See page 15 for a list of available finishes.

STEEL MEMBERS18 GA (1.3 mm) horizontal steel members provide increased torsion and impact resistance.

TOP AND FLOOR SEALSThe activation of a single lever extends both top and floor seals simultaneously. These elements increase acoustic performance and match the frame’s colours.

Automated operation and sweep seals also available.

FRAME BENEFITS

In addition to their design value, frames offer endless surfacing possibilities, protect the partition finish and make it easier to handle the panels.

STEEL FRAMEThe steel frame makes the panel easier to operate and prevents damage to the finish despite recurring impact.

NATURE SURROUNDS USSUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT, LEED CONSTRUCTION, ECOLOGICAL FOOTPRINT… BECAUSE OF GREENWASHING, THESE IDEAS OFTEN SEEM MEANINGLESS. BUT AT CORFLEX, WE WERE PROUD TO BE GREEN LONG BEFORE IT WAS THE “IN” THING.

THE END IS ONLY THE BEGINNING

Once your partition is no longer useful and ready to be dismantled, it will be returned to the Corflex factory where all usable parts will be

recycled. A certificate confirming the volume of recycled materials may be issued upon request.

SPACE REINVENTEDPAIRED PANELS

5500 SERIESEasy to move manually, paired panels fold in groups of two and can be stacked at either end of the central track.

OMNI-DIRECTIONAL PANELS

5600 SERIESWhen additional flexibility is required, omni-directional panels can be reconfigured easily. The system makes it possible to move individual panels on multiple axis, following tracks laid in a straight line, curve or even a cross. As long as panels remain on the same floor, they can be moved along a track of any distance, whether for stacking or storage.

Having a floating trolley on top of each panel ensures a quick straightening of the partition without the use of a ceiling guide track which can damage the panel headers.

5900 SERIESPanels can be deployed or stored at the end of the track with the press of a button. Corflex’s unique system provides each panel with its own trolley, improving performance.

SMOOTH AND FAST OPERATIONA variable frequency drive adjusts deployment speed automatically, providing smooth action and diminishing stress on the track.

INCREASED STABILITYThe chain drive is more stable than a cable drive, reducing necessary system maintenance.

RESTRICTED SPACEThe drive unit requires only 14 inches (356 mm) of ceiling space for installation.

DEPLOYMENT IN A LIMITED SPACEBecause panels can be straightened faster, their deployment requires less clear space in front of the stack area.

DISCREET HINGES Adding a trolley to each panel makes it possible to use smaller and safer hinges, reducing risk of injuries.

By not having to worry about the building structure, you avoid any inconvenience related to demolition

and renovation. Also, our self-supporting structure meets the standards of seismic safety.

SELF-SUPPORTING UNISPAN SYSTEM

This system makes it possible to install an operable partition within an existing building. The structure can be assembled on site, making viable what could otherwise be impossible.

COMPLETE, SELF-SUPPORTING STRUCTUREFeaturing heavy-duty support columns and a horizontal truss with integrated track, the system requires no structural support. It can fit openings up to 39’ 9’’ (12.2 m) wide.

FAST INSTALLATIONThe system can be installed quickly, requiring only two Corflex experts.
