The main stake is that a user can only reachthe data which he needs in order to fulll his

duty! and to this data only

Introduction: ""User Rights" attri#ution

This document will help you to dene the proper"User Rights" or $permissions% in your hotel

& "User Right" aims at ena#ling a specied user to

perform a precise action

Opera proposes more than 1''' di(erent rights)

To simplify their attri#ution! we gathered them #ytype of operational functions! in so*called "UserGroups"

""User Rights" are under your responsi#ility

The attri#ution of "User Rights" to "User Groups" is underthe responsi#ility of the +otel ,anagement

User login is specic per user! thus each sta( mem#er isto ha-e a personal login and password

.nsure /assword .0piration ays set on and not greaterthan 2'

.nsure that user passwords are at least 3 characters inlength

.nsure that user passwords include at least 4 of thefollowing 5 characters types: 617 lower case letters! 687upper case letters! 647 num#ers! 657 sym#ols

(It cannot be the same than the login and must be diferent rom

the last 4 used passwords)

General case

The attri#ution is name specic with creation of a login

and a password for e-ery user Opera co*worker

9ogins must all #e created according to the same namingcon-ention : ;;999 6where = T&R< hotel code!;; = ;irst 8

characters of the rst name and 999 = ;irst 4 charactersof the last name7

The password is at least 3 characters long and has tocontain 1 special character and 1 gure

+e cannot #e the same that the login nor one of the last5 usedpasswords
