CHAPTER 1

1.1 Instructions on Safety

The design of the satellite tuner meets international standardsNevertheless, the operation requires electrical appliance caution. We recommend that you contact a qualified satellite professional to install this receiver and satellite system as a whole. However, if you have decided to establish a system of its own, please study the contents of this guide. Please particular attention to the safety instructions below.

Supply voltagePower supply: alternating current voltage of 110-240 V, 50/60 Hz in frequency. Make sure your line power source is the same. Do not overload the power supply network, extension cords or adapters, as this may cause a fire or electric shock.

Liquid Substances.Keep all liquids away from the tuner, do not allow liquid to enter the receiver.

Extraneous items.Coins and other small items should be stored away from the tuner, as they may fall down in its ventilation openings and become a serious cause of malfunction. Ingress tuner inside insects can also cause the tuner to fail and as a consequence lead to a fire.

Cleaning receiverDisconnect from the MAINS PLUG before the cleanup. Clean the external of the shell terminal using a soft slightly damp cloth. Do Not Use solvents!

VentilationDo not block the vent holes of the receiver. Make sure to place it in a place where it is provided free circulation of air. Never place the tuner on soft surface or cloth. Do not store the receiver near a heat source or in a place where it is exposed to direct sun rays.

Instructions on Safety.Unplug the device when not in useDo not replace the tuner devices, as this may result in damage to this system and tuner.Disconnect satellite antennas when not in use.Disconnect from the LNB before connecting or disconnecting the power. Error or carelessness could damage the LNB and / or receiver.

1.2 Remote Control Description

1 STAND BY - Switching from the tuner Call waiting (STAND BY), in the mode and back.

2 TV / SAT - Switching modes: "Terrestrial TV", or "Satellite TV."3 MUTE - Used to switch off the sound.4 BUTTONS - buttons for input various digital information and choice of channels by

entering their numbers.5 SAT LIST (For a list of satellites) - Output at the screen see satellites, with scrawled

channels and saved in the receiver's memory.6 Page Up / Down - Switching pages on the listed channel.7 INFO (Information) - Output information on current channel-the name of the

channel, the current and next channel. There is a possibility of viewing information on other channels within the one transponder and not switching to them.

8 CH+ CH- are intended to switch channels and scrolling through menu items.9 Left (Left), Right (Right) - Switching of the left and right part of the menu, as well

1.3 Front Panel

Receiver Buttons on the front panel

ON/OFF: Start/Stop tuner.

MENU: Call the Main Menu on a television set.

OK: Calling the list of channels on the screen and confirmation, Selection on the Main Menu.

Right / Left: Adjusting the volume in the viewing mode, jump items in the Main Menu Mode.

Up / Down: Switching channels and the shift of the items in Main Menu.

1.4 The Back Plate

1. IF INPUT - Connecting the coaxial cable to the LNB.

2. IF OUTPUT - Connector for connecting another tuner.

3. ANT IN - Attaching a television antenna to normal possible viewing of local television channels.

4. TV OUT - Connecting the TV.

5. 0/12V 50mA Max - for connecting additional output converters.

6. VIDEO / AUDIO OUTPUT - Connecting the TV or any another audio / video.

7. TV SCART - TV, using the SCART connector.

8. VCR SCART - VCR using connector.

9. RS-232 - Ability to connect the tuner to a computer to read and update software.

10. SP DIF - Connecting the sound system receiver for the volumetric sound in the 5.1 format via the optical output.

CHAPTER 2Connecting UP

2. 1 Connecting cables

There are several ways to connect the tuner to your Audio / TV system. We encourage you to use one of the following schemes to get the best results.

2.2 Digital TV

1. Plug one end of the SCART connector cable to TV SCART of the tuner, and the other end to the SCART socket on the TV.

2. Plug one end of the cable to the RF connector on the TV OUT terminal, and the other end RF IN socket on your TV.

3. Plug in your TV antenna socket to ANT IN tuner for reception of local air channels.

4. Connect the coaxial cable from the LNB to the IF INPUT tuner.

2.3 Audio System Connection

1. Plug the RCA stereo cable from the nests AUDIO L, R on the back of the tuner to the nests LINE input, AUX, SPARE on audio or EXTRA system.

2. Connect SP DIF optical cable from the nest SP DIF on the back of the tuner input to the nests SP DIF IN (LINE IN) 5.1 on your receiver.

2.4 Satellite TV, Motorized Systems (DiseqC 1.2)

1. Plug SCART socket to the TV SCART of the tuner, and the other end to the SCART socket on the TV.

2. Plug SCART from VCR SCART of the tuner, to the SCART socket on your VCR.

3. Plug one end of the cable to the RF connector on the TV OUT terminal, and the other end to the RF IN nests on your VCR.

4. Plug one end of the cable to the RF connector on your RF OUT VCR, and the other end RF IN socket on your TV.

5. Plug in your TV antenna socket to ANT IN tuner for reception of Local air channels.

CHAPTER 33. Connecting other equipment

3.1 DiSEqC 1.0 (DiSEqC 1.1) Motor connection.

Connect a coaxial cable from the LNB to the diseqc motor. Connect the coaxial cable from the motor to the receiver. For more information on connecting the system read the instructions on its maintenance and installation guide.

Tuner supports protocol for managing external devices DiSEqC 1.0 (DiSEqC 1.1). This allows multiple antennas to connect to the terminal at the same time. If you use at least two dishes or LNB’s, use the switch DiSEqC 1.0, if more than 4 or 5 dishes or LNB’s use the switch DiSEqC 1.1.

1. Connect the coaxial cable from the first LNB to LNB 1 or LNB A DiSEqC at the switch.

2. Connect the coaxial cable from the second LNB to LNB 2 or LNB B at the switch DiSEqC.

3. Do the same with the other LNB’s.4. Plug one end of coaxial cable to the output socket of the DiSEqC switch, and

the other end into the nest IF INPUT tuner.

3.2 Connecting an additional tuner

If you have another (analog or digital) tuner, and you want to use this tuner, it can be connected to an outlet of the IF OUTPUT tuner. To do this, connect a coaxial cable connector on the IF OUTPUT tuner with the connector LNB IN (DISH IN, IF INPUT) on your second tuner.

4.2 Main Menu Structure

Installation: Press the MENU key. Using the buttons Up / Down go to the desired menu item and click OK. If you want to return to previous menu – click BACK. To exit press Menu.

Search Channels: Installation parameters for search channels.

Transfer Settings: Downloading settings with a computer or another tuner

Reset receiver Preferences: Erase, Factory reset Setting Channels Editing System

Setting System Editing Channels: Allows delete, move and rename channels.

Editing: Allows remove of satellites, Sort Sat list.

Favorite Group: Create lists favorite channels (Favorites lists), with the possibility of moving channels from one channel list to the other.

Set Language: Allows you to choose language for the menu screen, audio and subtitle tracks.

Setting Video: You can choose (CVBS, RGB, VYU), and the sound level output to the television (SCART) only in RGB mode, type output signal (SCART) VCR (CVBS), format television screen 4:3 or 16:9 and transparency menu, enable / disable info panel on channel.

Setting Modulator: Allows you to select Output high-frequency (HF) signal (PAL I, DK, BG) and the number of UHF 21-69 channel.

Setting Time: Setting the transition to summer time, time zone, and the inclusion of a timer mode.

Info System: Shows information such as the version Bootloader, software version Welfare and equipment, as well as date of last update software.

Locks Menu: Select regimes locking system, the Editor canals and the installation menu.

Other settings: Configure speed serial port, incl. / off. Regime software incl./off. Automatic updating of the channel name. Calendar. Tetris.

4.3 First Inclusion

First Set Up

Turn on the TV and receiver.

In the resulting menu, clicking Button Up/Down choose English menu.

Then you will be invited to modify the receiver menu.

CHAPTER 55. Operation Menu

5.1 Installation Menu

5.1.1 Search Channels

In Main Menu, select Installation.

In Install menu, select the satellite your dish is looking at and then Search Channels.

Remember to save your scanned list.

5.1.1.1 Menu options

0/12V- enable / disable

LNB converters. LNBP - enable / disable

LNB Type-installation type (type) LNB (Universal, Single, OCS).

LNB - to set the frequency converter 2/3 ½ 5/6 7/8 etc

LNB (Universal, 10750, 10600, 9750, 5150, One cable, 0… 9).

KHz - to set a tone signal (Auto, On., Off.) is not active in Universal LNB choice.

DiSEqC - if you use DiSEqC 1.0 select switch one of the entrances to Port (1, 2, 3, 4).

If you use DiSEqC 1.1 switch, select one of the free inputs (1-8).

If using ?? DiSEqC 1.2 -- switch, select one of the free inputs (1-16).

Motor choose.

If using Stab USALS -- select USALS.

5.1.1.2 Renamed Scan

In the window that appears, select SAT.

If you want to rename it, press the green button.

In the next window, enter a new using the name of the satellite buttons

Up / Down, Left / Right to move to letter and clicking on the selected letters press OK to save.

When you are finished press the green button to rename confirmation.

Using the buttons Up / Down Satellite select from the list and click OK.

If you want to scan several satellites – Select them also by pressing the OK button.

Click on the Yellow button to start scan.

In the resulting menu, select search options - to search all channels / free only (FTA) / encrypted and free (FTA & CAS), as well as enable / disable network Search and click OK.

Transponder When you click OK scanning channels begins.

On the left of the screen running TV hits and Radio channels on the right.

Remember to save when you are finished.

If you want to stop scanning, click Red and then Exit button, when finished scanning Search results will be saved, and the first hits channel will be shown. If you want to scan satellite on individual transponders, click Blue button.

Select transponder by pressing the Up / Down button to move to the list of transponders and click OK.

If you want to choose several transponders -- go on the list, click on the OK button of the necessary transponders.

Editing transponder, adding transponder, scanning transponder.

If you want to edit options selected transponder, click on the Red button.

In the window that appears, you can change the frequency change polarization, + FEC.

OK to save changes or to exit.

If you do not find the transponder on the list - you can add it.

To add transponder, press the Green button.

In the window that appears, enter relevant parameters for the new transponder.

Use Left / Right and the number buttons to input parameters.

This option allows you to scan selected transponder by using transponders predefined information.

Select one or more Transponders go on list with the buttons. Up / Down and pressing the OK button on the right transponder.

Press yellow button to start scanning.

5.1.1.4 Removing transponder mode

Scan search. If you want to add FTA channel, knowing Video, Audio, PCR pid do not pressing the OK button in the list transponders press yellow button "crawl" and enter search parameters hand in the window that appears.

To begin scanning click OK and select transponder (transponder) go on list and clicking on the OK button.

5.2 Channels Editor

5.2.1 Editing channels
