The project will take place from 1st of May, 2016 until 31th of December , 2016.
OPEN YOUR MIND originates from a need felt by JOVESOLIDES to meet the demands and concerns raised by the civil society in Situations of xenophobia, racism, discrimination and intolerance between Arab and Spanish culture among young people. It is NECESSARY to disseminate educational tools and launch Campaigns that would help us question attitudes, values, behaviors and make Efforts to make a change. In summary: to provide the opportunity to fight in a more effective way against “hate speech” among young people.
The project is supported by launching an audiovisual campaign by young Individuals Considering gender equality, the use of digital tools and intercultural coexistence. Due to STI Characteristics and potential, digital and audiovisual media offer great possibilities for spreading awareness to different audience on issues related to equality and non-discrimination. The main motive behind OPEN YOUR MIND project is to contribute to the development of an intercultural, tolerant and inclusive society, with the notion that young people are the foundation of change-through leadership and active participation in coexistence Between Both cultures. The activity is an exchange of youth leaders and youth Participants from 4 participating countries for a period of 6 days (Considering Having activities in the days of arrival and return).
Financial aspectsJOVESOLIDES with the financial support of the European Commission through Erasmus+ program will cover the following costs:- food, accommodation and training activities (100%);- transport costs will be reimbursed on a lump sum basis (official travel distance calculator)
Starting 1st of May , 2016, six days (The 8 months the period: March to December)
