An extensive number of suppliers are

contracted across a diverse range of goods,

service and works suitable for all open

space, parks and recreation areas, gardens

and playground … with supply, delivery and

installation options for much of the product

across South Australia.

LGA Procurement was keen to ensure that

SA Councils were able to identify providers

which would assist in meeting regional

purchasing strategies. The South Australian

Industry Participation Policy, established by

State Government, focuses on the inclusion

of an economic benefit assessment when

undertaking and evaluating procurement.

Response questions were included to

enable identification of a Panel of Providers,

comprising companies with a SA presence –

in respect of elements of manufacture;

fabrication; distribution; assembly and

installation. This panel has been

supplemented with some specific (non-SA)

product providers which would be

considered of interest to SA Councils., SA

Panel of Providers.

This arrangement caters for a diverse range of

goods, services and works with 65 approved

providers across 11 categories which provide a

range of products including but not limited to the
