What’s New & What’s Changing
Medical • Cigna Choice Fund with Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) – you now have two HRA compatible health plans to
choose from – the 1500 HRA with copays and the 2500 HRA plan • Cigna Choice Fund with Health Savings Account – you now have one HSA compatible health plan to choose from –
the 2000 HSA plan • San Diego Only – you now have the option to enroll in a Cigna Southern CA Select HMO – this HMO only provides
access to in-network Scripps physicians
HRA and HSA Employer Funding • If you enroll in one of the Cigna Choice Fund Plans, Bridgepoint will contribute to your HRA or HSA account. The
amount placed in the fund is no longer based on your wellness participation, but is pro-rated based on your enrollment date. Amounts are:
– $750/year for employee only coverage – $1,500/year for employee + dependents coverage
Employee Medical Contributions • You’ll pay $25 less each paycheck for your medical coverage if you completed the health screening and assessment. If
you didn’t complete it this year, you will have an opportunity to do so in 2018 for the 2018/2019 plan year. You can find employee contribution information when you enroll online.
Employee Assistance Program • Cigna’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) now offers 5 face-to-face counseling sessions
