Hello from our Principal …

I am delighted that you have chosen to attend our Open Day. I hope it will show you what a fantastic place this University is and that you will understand why we were recently named Scottish University of the Year by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018. We welcome students from all over Scotland, England, Northern Ireland, Wales, the rest of Europe and beyond which creates a vibrant student community, offering one of the best student experiences in the country, as recognised by the National Student Survey.

Open Day will give you a taste of this and of what puts Glasgow in the world’s top 100 universities. It’s an invaluable opportunity to find out more about your academic areas of interest, meet staff and current students, and gather information and advice on important topics such as admissions, accommodation and finance.

Make the most of the day. Ask questions. Take in the vibrant atmosphere of our unique and beautiful campus, explore the West End of Glasgow and experience our lively and exciting city! What you see, hear and absorb today will, I hope, help you to select your University of choice. In welcoming you to our campus, may I wish you well with your forthcoming studies and every success for the future.

Best wishes

Professor Sir Anton Muscatelli Principal and Vice Chancellor
