Cut out the square along the solid line. With the yellow panel on top, fold up from the center line. Crease well and unfold. Then, fold the left side of the paper to match up with the right side of the paper. Crease well and unfold. Your square should have a large X shape in the middle. Next, fold the two opposing corners to the center of the paper.

2 Flip the paper over. Fold the top corners so that each edge is lined up with the center vertical line. Crease well. Rotate the paper and fold the other set of corners the same way.

Fold the paper in half on the center line with the points facing down. Crease well.

NOTE:

Fold only the top triangle down, leaving a little bit of space from the bottom edge.

Rotate the paper clockwise and fold down along the center line. Rotate the paper over so that the straight edge is on the top.

Pinch the top part of the shell, being sure to avoid the tail. Pull the tail down to line up with the base of the shell. Crease the new folds.

Fold the top point of the snail shell, then unfold and tuck into the shell on the fold you just made.

Using scissors, snip the end of his snout at a angle, just next to his mouth.

cut this part off.

Cut out rectangle around the eyes. The fold in half and glue together. Next cut out eyes & antennae along the grey line. Glue antennae into the inside of the snout. You’re done!
