REPORT One week ISTE-AICTE approved Short Term Training Program on “Python Programming” was conducted by Computer Science and Engineering Department in S. B. Jain Institute of Technology, Management & Research, Nagpur. Inauguration function was conducted by Mr. Pramod Kumar Singh unit CTO, Persistent Systems Limited, Nagpur, Dr. Sanjay L. Badjatya, principal SBJITMR, Mr Animesh Tayal, HOD CSE, and Dr. Swapnili P. Karmore. Keynote speech was delivered by Mr. Pramod Kumar Singh, Unit CTO, Persistent Systems Limited, Nagpur. Inauguration of STTP by Mr. Pramod Kumar Singh, CTO, Persistent Systems Mr. Pramod Kumar Singh is currently working as CTO of services unit of Persistent Systems, He is responsible for the technology road map of services unit, and he has been in this industry for last 20+ years. He has been previously extensively involved with setting Enterprise Architecture strategies and technology road map for big and small Enterprises. Prior to Persistent, he was the CTO of Infospectrum India Pvt Ltd, which got acquired by Persistent System in march of 2011.He has an extensive experience working with enterprise software in domains like Telecom, Media and online advertising, Aviation MRI and Marine Navigation, Healthcare, e-commerce and customer engagement and Industrial Automation. One week ISTE-AICTE approved Short Term Training Program on “Python Programming” was

conducted by Computer Science and Engineering Department in S. B. Jain Institute of Technology,

Management & Research, Nagpur. Inauguration function was conducted by Mr. Pramod Kumar Singh

In his key Note for python Programming STTP he elaborates applications of python Programming in

Data Sciences and Internet of Things. Hands on sessions were conducted by Dr. Swapnili Karmore, and

Mr. Manjeet Marodkar from host institutions.

One week STTP contains topics based on, introduction, basic concepts, control structures, List Tupples,

Dictionaries, Function, files, natural language processing applications, object oriented programming,

python module installation configuration, Django, MVC application creation, writing own views and

handling Dynamic contents followed by hands-on session.

Content delivery for STTP by Dr. Swapnili Karmore, and Mr. Manjeet Marodkar

Mr. Ankit Mahule, Python Developer from Infosys, Pune was delivered, his thought on importance of

Python in industries on last day of STTP. He has four years of experience in IT industry having

expertise in Full Stack and Architecture Development. He is expertise in technologies like JAVA,

J2EE, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript etc. Frameworks like Angular JS, REST API, Flask,

Knockout JS, and Bootstrap etc. He is primarily worked on Domains like Law, Telecom, Education and

Banking. Currently he is working with Infosys Ltd. as a Full Stack Web Developer involved in

developing and managing full stack of an e-commerce website. He is a dynamic, cool and helping kind

of person with excellent debugging and programming skills and loves to share knowledge with others.

Valedictory function was conducted in the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Avinash Agrawal, Associate

Professor from RCOEM, Mr. Chaitanya Ghate from Vigrah Microsystems, Mr. Sanjiv Agrawal CEO of

SBJITMR and Principal Dr. S. L. Badjate SBJITMR.

Valedictory Function for STTP Python Programming.

Chief Guest Dr. Avinash Agrawal extends his chief guest talk by explaining applications of Python

programming in Natuaral Language Processing. He concludes his talk by encouraging participants for

using such recent trend language for their Research work.

Program got great response from students, faculty from other institutes. Total Fifty one participants

were registered for STTP from host and different colleges. Excellent feedback was given by

participants regarding STTP and facilities provided during STTP.
