The insertion head drives are servo driven and controlled for precise and rapidcomponent insertion. The tooling might be programmed to insert in 1° incrementsfrom 0° to 359°. The insertion head drive is common for all machine configurations.The insertion head tooling is changed to provide the different spans that are available.
