Ontario Legislature:April 25-29 – Constituency week. MPPs in home ridings.
Coalition and Allies:April 9 – Rally For Respect: Community Day Of Action For Our Communities, Public Services, Good Jobs - 1 p.m., Dundas Square (Dundas and Yonge), Toronto, followed by a march to Nathan Phillips Square (Toronto City Hall). For informationand flyer, go to link.
April 28 – Day of Mourning for persons killed or injured in the workplace. For information on the Day of Mourning and listing of provincial events, go to link.
April 29 - July 9 – Workers Arts and Heritage Centre is holding an exhibition exploring the history and development of the nursing profession and training programs in Hamilton from 1890 to present. For a flyer and information on the opening reception in Hamilton on April 29, 7-10 p.m., go to link.
April 30 – The Toronto and York Region Labour Council’s annual Aboriginal Workers/Workers of Colour Conference at OFL Building, Toronto.Keynote speaker will be newly elected Councillor Kristyn Wong-Tam. To download the flyer, go to link.
