OMP AND LAMBORGHINI SQUADRA CORSE RENEW PARTNERSHIP

  Ronco Scrivia, 29 January 2018 After many seasons of success and mutual satisfaction, OMP Racing and Lamborghini Squadra Corse have the pleasure to announce the multi-annual renewal of their partnership. The deal bonds together the racing world of the Sant’Agata Bolognese firm and the leading company for design and manufacturing of autosport safety components. Seamlessly, the Lamborghini competition cars will feature OMP roll-bars, seats, harnesses and steering wheels; the same way, OMP will supply the racewear (suits, gloves, boots, underwear) for each Lamborghini driver, both the official and the ones from private teams competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo one-make series and in international GT championship. The partnership will bring the Lamborghini Squadra Corse-OMP pair around the circuits of the world, fighting for the glory in prestigious international series such as Blancpain GT Series, International GT Open and IMSA. Furthermore, Lamborghini competes in major national GT championships (the British and the Italian ones most of all), as well as promoting the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, the biggest and most important one-make series in the world. Just at the first act of the current season, with the deal just renewed, Lamborghini Squadra Corse and OMP celebrated a major victory: the Daytona Rolex 24, where the Grasser Racing Team’s Huracàn dominated the GTD class race. OMP Racing is an Italian company, established in 1973 in Genoa and having today its headquarters at Ronco Scrivia, world leader in the field of design and manifacture of safety components for racecars (suits, gloves, shoes, seats, safety belts, helmets etc.).
