I worked as Primary and/or Backup analyst to align to operative business practices, launching, configuring and maintaining the following IT applications/infrastructure: Alpha-Digital/HP servers and peripherals, MB+ Network, VMS Basestar, Quality systems (QLS-CM, BHT, ETIS, Meters, RS/1, SPCS), Delivery Systems (MMS, POS Monitoring, Kanban support and SMART cards/calls, FPS measurables), Maintenance Systems (Engine Shipping Tracking, PDS/Mass AutoSave, Alarm Notification System, Process Control / Andon Boards).

I led and represented ChEP IT group to successfully complete launch of IT applications and infrastructure for the New i4 British engine program. I had high interaction and communications with Systems Business Managers, applications teams, and vendors from Europe (U.K.) and USA to plan, test and implement 23 FPS IT enablers applications. I was also responsible for management and control of budgets/costs for these IT applications/infrastructure launching (Aug 97 to Dec 00).

I led 7 Mfg. application's launch (MMS, ETIS, DTS, PQS, TMS, BHT e IMAGE) for Taubate Engine and Transmission Plants new program in Brazil interacting with corporate and non-corporate teams (IT, Mfg., Vendors) from Brazil, Europe, USA and Mexico (Apr 96 to Jul 97).

Responsible of creating effective working relationships with manufacturing business leaders to communicate services and facilities offered by the technology applications; participation in development of an IT service-oriented philosophy in the Manufacturing Plant Floor environment aligned to FPS corporate strategy.

I coordinated the support of 20 Plant Floor IT applications to meet Ford’s Zetec engine project business requirements for quality, productivity, and costs. I led a team of 7 IT analysts and performed parallel job as analyst supporting quality and engine assembly areas applications.

Product Development: Responsible for deploying and maintaining up-to-date, and aligned with FNA standards, all the required IT PD portfolio of applications and local infrastructure; managing multiple projects (+3 Million investments) for PD area growth, in order to develop Product Engineering capabilities in Mexico to support Global needs, reaching BIC performance in terms of Responsiveness, Quality of Execution and Cost. Multiple Tech Renewal events were successfully completed working with SM and AM teams: (P2 C3PNG major infrastructure and 16 applications upgrade with 1.2 M usd investment, EWS model upgrades, Windows 7 OS migration, PD NAS Shared folders consolidation, Major replacement of NAS upgrading to a new technology and having a backup NAS server between CSAP and SFE Ford sites).

Product Development: FoM to FNA C3PNG infrastructure and data multisite consolidation successfully led and completed with FoM/FNA/APA IT and PD teams (Feb to Aug 2014).

GLOBAL benefit: Ensure C3PNG applications & new infrastructure improvements enable this C3PNG site and future C3PNG sites (Brazil and APA) consolidations.

LOCAL benefit: Avoid cost on reinvestment in new technology and reduce FoM C3PNG ongoing annual infrastructure support costs ($325,000 usd Operational cost); and avoid a SAN device tech refresh upgrade scheduled to 2014 ($110,000 usd Non Prod cost).

ENGINEERING benefit: Improved data collaboration and reduction of hours spent for each Vehicle's design due the fact of having real time access to C3PNG data (replace 2Tier connection and overnight synchronization, by 4Tier real time direct connection).

FCSD: Sales and Inventory of Parts (VIP): led the initiative to analyze and implement migration of Production Support and Development duties from Brazil to India. Yearly financial reductions of $63.5K usd representing 30% cost reduction of previous cost. This application support service was for Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.

Finance: As IT Financials Coordinator, I led, documented and communicated the 2012 ORB exercise for Mexico where I identified opportunities for Mexico staff to remove incorrect annual billings for more than $700K usd (similar situation found for Canada with $1.5M usd savings).

Manufacturing: Successfully led implementation of manufacturing applications and infrastructure for 2 major manufacturing programs (ChEP i4 Engine (1997-2000), and LEP D35 Engine (2003-2005)) in addition to launch 7 manufacturing application in Taubate Brazil (1996-1997). These projects demanded multiple effective communications and work with different IT and Manufacturing teams from multiple countries like USA, United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil and Mexico.

Key Accomplishments and recognitions MP&L: Led launch of COPAC application to track and pay vehicles transportation to dealers’

fees. Development of local 9-Series reports and database provided a big help to MP&L Finance on auditing checks paid to Transportation carriers generating big savings to the company (more than $2 million usd).

Manufacturing: Development and implementation of a web-based hourly overtime scheduling and local Opt. Cards input forms application, eliminating the use of paper cards. This project reduced at least 1 salary position, and improved process efficiency and safety. Annual hard savings of $100,000 usd.

Manufacturing: Led the analysis and development of LEP IT Production Tools, an in-house web-based application for FPS measurables. This application was replicated in 5 USA Manufacturing Plants (CEP1, CEP2, REP, DEP and EEP).
