Old Earth School Newsletter Nativity Plays The Christmas story was shared with 150+ audiences all week, with the school’s youngest children taking to the stage. Everyone performed wonderfully, really setting the scene for all the parents & family who were lucky enough to watch… a perfect message for the middle week of advent. Well done to all !! Foundation Stage Key Stage One Watch the performances on line The KS1 and the FS performances are now available for parents to watch— you need to follow the web link on the school website and enter the Password that your child should have brought home. The weblink will remain live until Friday 6th January. There are also pic- tures that you are free to download. audiences all week, with the school’s youngest children taking to the stage.

Everyone performed wonderfully, really setting the scene for all the parents &

As this newsletter went to print, the total donations to these amazing charities stood at

£105. The teachers thank parents for these donations

instead of a present at Christmas.

RAFFLE WINNERS : Last 3 prizes—these can be picked up in January. Pink 496 and Pink border 381 & 431 CAROL SINGING : Some of our Oaks’ Choir sang at the

Marshall’s Christmas Lunch at Lowfields. Unknown to the children, the staff had a whip round and donated £64 towards the choir’s new uniform fund.

Year 2 Enterprise

Guide Dog Training

The Y2 enterprise Education Event saw the children make

fudge, snowmen and key-rings. These were sold at their Nativity performances. The £233 raised will go to train Guide Dogs for the Blind.

A few parents have asked about the next instalment of the ‘Big 4’. We have struggled for space in

the newsletter to do the last two - Feedback and Independent

Learning. These will come out to parents in the new year.
