Ryan Bouley is a managing director in the restructuring practice at Opportune. He focuses on financial and operational restructuring. Ryan has advised debtors, creditors, and equity holders on restructurings and special situations—both in and out of court—across the energy spectrum and in other related industries, and has been involved with numerous oil and gas restructurings.

Jonathan Duersch is an associate chief accountant in the office of the chief accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Jonathan leads consultation requests from public and private companies on current novel and complex accounting issues related to debt equity transactions, consolidations, derivatives, long-lived assets, and oil and gas accounting matters. He is involved with assessing the accounting implications of regulatory rule-making projects undertaken by the Commission specifically related to the oil and gas industry and has led SEC oversight of specific FASB’s standard setting projects.

Stephen Comstock is the director of tax and accounting policy for the American Petroleum Institute. His responsibilities include coordination and managing issues impacting the industry arising from federal, state income, excise and indirect taxes. In addition, he has responsibilities for developing and working API’s policy on accounting and cyber issues. Prior to joining API, Stephen was a tax attorney with ExxonMobil in the tax department and provided planning advice for various projects in upstream, downstream and chemical operations.

Regina Mayor is the national sector leader for energy, natural resources and chemicals, and the Americas’ oil and gas leader at KPMG. She also serves as the global lead partner for several of KPMG’s relationships with key energy clients. Kenneth Miller is a partner for PricewaterhouseCoopers national accounting services group. Bill Odom is a senior manager in the forensic technology and discovery services practice at EY. He has more than 17 years of experience in computer forensics, intrusion investigations, electronic discovery, and expert testimony. Bill began his career as a special agent with the FBI where he was involved with and investigated computer intrusions, computer intrusion countermeasures, computer security matters, and national intelligence and counterintelligence matters.

Todd Burchett

Todd Burchett is a partner of the forensics and valuations services division at BKD. He leads its Texas practice by providing business valuation, forensic accounting, investigation, and bankruptcy and litigation support services. John Fiebig

Deputy Director, PCAOB, Dallas, TX

John Fiebig is a deputy director in the division of registration and inspections for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and is the leader for the Global Network Firm Program. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the inspections of the six largest domestic registered accounting firms and their non-U.S. affiliates. John has been both the global team leader and U.S. team leader for the inspections of one of the Big 4 firms. In 2016, John was inducted into the Oklahoma State University School of Accounting Wilton T. Anderson Hall of Fame.

Melissa N. Rocha

Senior Assistant Chief Accountant, Division of Corporation Finance, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Washington, D.C.

Melissa Rocha is a senior assistant chief accountant in the office of construction and manufacturing within the division of corporation finance at the SEC. Prior to her current role, Melissa worked in various industry groups within the division including healthcare and insurance, beverages, apparel and mining, and computers and online services. Before joining the Commission in 2000, she worked as an SEC reporting manager for a publicly traded hotel owner and operator.
