With Lake levels at 155 feet an an-gler has many options from which to choose Fishing the outside edge

is standard fare for bass anglers but then too many other anglers like getting way back into the marsh areas and exploring As the fish adjust to the new water levels there will be fish in both areas

Bass anglers are still having a great time catch-ing fish Some are interested in sheer numbers while others are targeting only big bass De-pending on the techniques you employ and the type of cover you are fishing you can literally catch bass all day long As the water continues to cool we are seeing more and more big bass being caught

Okeechobee Fishing headquarters hosted its monthly team tournament trail this past week-end Dick Myers and Brock Stanaland captured first place with 26 pounds 5 ounces The pre-ferred technique for the bigger fish was a pitch-ingflipping presentation

Anglers are still finding blue gill although lo-cating them is a little tougher when you cannot really see the bottom in many areas Red worms fished on the bottom seem to be the preferred bait Many anglers are catching a mixed bag us-ing this method with blue gill shell cracker and catfish all being taken
