Oliver Population: 4,000

Features: “Wine capital of Canada”; cycling, Hike + Bike trails; PGA rated golfing

Features: “Yuma of Canada”; resort community; gateway to Canada’s only desert; Osoyoos Lake - the warmest in the Okanagan

Program Overview

▪Begins July 2016

▪ 18th FP program in BC

▪ Intake of 4CMG residents

▪Triple C Curriculum (Comprehensive, Continuity, Centred in FM)

▪Exposure to diverse communities (all within a 1 hour drive)

R1 - Curriculum Overview

▪ Blend of longitudinal and block

▪ 1st month orientation

▪ 4 Blocks – Peds/OB; ER/Psych; IM/FP; SUR/Specialties

▪ 4 week rotations X 3 of each block

▪ Centred in Family Medicine

▪ Hospital and clinic/office based
