EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL NOTES:

1. SITE WORKS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PLATINUM EDITION OF THE MASTERMUNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. .

2. IT IS THE SITE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENTMAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF THE SILTATION CONTROL STRUCTURES AND TO ENSURETHAT THE WATER BEING DISCHARGED FROM THE SITE MEETS pH LEVELS BETWEEN 6.0 AND9.0, AND DOES NOT CONTAIN TOTAL SUSPENDED SOLIDS (TSS) GREATER THAN 75 mg/LABOVE THE BACKGROUND LEVELS DURING WET EVENTS AND 25 mg/L DURING DRY EVENTSAND/OR OTHER LEVELS SPECIFIED BY LOCAL AUTHORITY.

3. ALL WORK MUST BE UNDERTAKEN AND COMPLETED IN SUCH A MANNER AS TO PREVENT THERELEASE OF SILT, RAW CONCRETE LEACHATE OR OTHER DELETERIOUS SUBSTANCES INTOANY DITCH, WATERCOURSE, RAVINE AND STORM SEWER SYSTEM.

4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCE OF ALL SEDIMENT CONTROLFACILITIES.

5. SILT FENCE/FILTER FABRIC TO BE NILEX 2130 AND NILEX 4535 (C-10) RESPECTIVELY ORENGINEER APPROVED EQUIVALENT.

6. ALL CONCRETE SUPPLY TRUCKS SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH WASH BUCKET SYSTEM FORFLUSHING OF FLUME. ALL WASTE WATER FROM FLUSHING OF FLUME TO BE RE-CIRCULATEDINTO MIXING DRUM. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, SHALL EXCESS CONCRETE FROM FLUMEAND/OR TRUCK BE FLUSHED ONTO ROADS OR INTO STORM SEWER SYSTEMS.

7. SILT BAGS TO BE LAYFIELD TYPAR 3801 OR ENGINEER APPROVED EQUIVALENT.

8. DUST NUISANCE SHALL BE REDUCED BY USE OF WATER SPRAYED ON THE EXPOSED SOURCEOF THE DUST.

9. ALL EXISTING DRAINAGE UTILITIES ARE TO BE PROTECTED DURING CONSTRUCTION.APPROPRIATE UTILITY PERSONNEL SHALL BE CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY WHERE AND WHENUNFORESEEN CONFLICTS OCCUR. ADJUSTMENT OR REPAIR OF UTILITIES IS TO BE CARRIEDOUT ONLY BY THE AUTHORITY OF LOCAL JURISDICTION.

10. SUMP(S) AND DISCHARGE PIPE TO BE RELOCATED AS NECESSARY AS PROJECT PROCEEDS.
