COMMUTING ACCIDENTS
A commuting accident is an accident which
happened while workers travelling to or from his
place of work.

ROAD ACCIDENTS SCENARIO
Every year,
Among 6 thousand death in traffic accidents:
10% is commuting accidents.
Among one thousand death in the industrial accident:
2/3 is commuting accidents.
80% Men, 20% Women.
30% is below 25 years old.

SAFE COMMUTING TIPS 1) Safe Driver/Rider
Fitness Mental and physical fitness affects response, and response time; tired mind delays thinking time, fatigue management, tired body delays reaction time.
Observation Ability to recognise or read road conditions ahead and behind, to have timely response.
Concentration Coordination of eyes, feet and hands.
Unselfishness Consideration for other road users. Ensure signal lights, horn and lights are functioning.
Space Maintain adequate buffer space.

DEFENSIVE DRIVING
Defensive driving/riding is all about safe drivers in
safe vehicle on safe roads.
Better to be 25 minutes too late, than 25 years too
soon.
The best safety devise you can install in a car is a
trained defensive driver.
