OGRA Volunteerof the Year

Call for Nominations

Dear Volunteers:

OGRA is requesting your assistance in gathering nominations for the Volunteer of the Year Award.

The success of OGRA on behalf of Ontario’s municipalities is a direct result of the tireless work of our many volunteers. Each year OGRA distinguishes one of our volunteers with a special award honouring their dedication and service to the association and its members.

The presentation of the award occurs at the Awards Luncheon during OGRA Annual Conference in Toronto at the end of February.

Selection Criteria1. The nominee for Volunteer of the Year must: a. Be a current and active volunteer; b. Have served a minimum of 5 years as an active volunteer; c. Be an active and dedicated supporter of OGRA and its mandate “to represent the infrastructure interests of municipalities through advocacy, consultation, training, and the delivery of identified services”.

2. The following are exempted from winning the award: a. Officers of the current Board of Directors (President, 1st and 2nd Vice Presidents, and Immediate Past President); b. Paid instructors
