"KOI JANNE , NA MANE

Thank you, to all my Faculty members and my batchmates for making my three years journey this special.

KAASH YE PAL THAM JAYEE YAHI.

The final chapter of a good book has begun. But some endings are inevitable, leaves fall, and we close the book. But as Winni the Pooh said, "How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

It went so fast. Just like our parents said it would be. Leaving home all alone for the first time in my life to find out if I have the skills to make it in the real world, it was not easy, but today I am leaving as a mature Girl ready to face the world.

PAR TERA SAATH THA KITNA HASEEN YE PAL

Thank you, Delhi Metropolitan Education, for all those precious memories which always make me smile. Finally, I am logging out from the place which taught me a lot, and again whenever I look back, I will smile and say 'That's my college'.

Bhavya Budhiraja

My life was not so happening before I entered a new world, commonly known as College. "DME" OMG! I will never forget my first day, my participation even on the orientation day, the first assignment, first anchoring and lot many first things. Mantra taught by me teachers was 'Not to stop and not to fall'.

When I struggled, It was Bala ma'am and Ambrish sir who always told me to pull my socks. My teachers not just taught me syllabus, but they imparted lessons of life.

I will miss the video room, BG Verghese Lectures, our fest and international conferences.

DME TV and Radio society made me a better person. It's just that I always got the chance to prove myself, to do something new, to explore and learn more and more things. There is nothing said to be- "I can't do it". Yes, you can simply learn it.

Only thing I regret is - we are unable to wear sarees and spoil our make up while crying on farewell. If saying goodbye to my DME family is a dream, so I don't want to open my eyes. These three years were magical and a beautiful era.

I still remember the days when I felt that I am in depression, and at that time, it was my teacher who held my hand and cured me. I still remember that I was nervous on stage; people who clapped and encouraged me were my teachers. DME is not just a college with students and faculties. It's a home with a family.

Janvi Sethi

People don't stay forever, but memories do. On the first day of college, I was anxious and doubted myself. But slowly and steadily, I realized that I would gain new experiences and opportunities from this place. I cannot believe that all of this has come to an end and that I will no longer be able to bunk lectures and submit assignments.

Anyone being a part of DME will have a blast. It's a package of gossip, events, activities and most importantly - learning.

My life changed since that one beautiful morning in August 2017. With my chin up, I went and met a bunch of fresh faces at a new place called Delhi Metropolitan Education. As they say 'What happens is meant to happen, so just go with the flow'; I went with the flow and found countless memories to cherish forever.

I have been part of many memorable events like 'Vritika'. I remember the 'Matargashti' partner tag I got alongside my Coordinator Daksh Mudgil.

These three years have been an adventure with lots of ups and downs. I am grateful to my mentors who made all of us realize that there's something special hidden in all of us. My college has taught me that it is essential to be passionate about our desires and not just focus on achieving them.

I am fortunate to be a student of DME College, as the experience I'm carrying on my shoulder when I came out of the college was a walkthrough of the real-life experiences, and that changed my entire perspective of life. Indeed that is helping me creating my own space in this world.

Since I joined DME, I never knew even in my wildest dream that one day I would weep my heart out when the time comes to bid farewell to the friends, who have become more like a family.

College life of DME is fantastic, and I'll be going to miss every bit of it. The stairs of DME where we laugh, chill and discuss our life problems, the classrooms, labs and even library, everything will be missed badly.

I'm gonna miss my professors specially Sanchita ma'am because she treated me like her own brother and always supported me whenever I needed her. I'll also miss spending time in events and the fun we had in those events.

Talking about college, it not only gave me a career that I am proud of but also gave me memories to cherish all my life. We, the aspirants of the corporate world live in the cocoons built around the college, but our teachers provided us with the ability to break free from the envelopes and gave us wings to fly into the independent world.

I feel so lucky that I found some people here whom I can proudly call my friends. This journey of three years is not completed without them, and even the cold coffee and Maggie point outside the campus has lots of memories.

At last, I will not say goodbye. Rather I should thank everyone.

A Big thanks to Bala ma'am and Ambrish sir for giving us a bundle of opportunities to bring out the best in us. I want to thank all the teachers who supported me and helped me whenever I needed them the most. DME has always been like a second home, and leaving this palce makes me bit emotional, but then I'm so grateful that I'm a part of it.

'Time flies rapidly.'

Well, this is true. I still remember the first day when I was getting ready to attend college. I was nervous about how it is going to be. But now I can say that three years spent at DME is one of the best periods of my life. It is a very overwhelming feeling of stepping into the new world.

A special thanks to Ms Sanchita Chakraborty, who made us learn to deal with challenges.

Kritika Matlani

Yeah, it was the day for farewell, and finally, it tossed us at the verge of separation. Seems all Greek when I realized like it was yesterday only; when we all met for the first time, when we all together were trying to trace our names in the list of admissions in Journalism. I still remember when I entered my class on the first day, I was very nervous and there were many people and everyone was unknown.

How far we arrived is something amusing and alluring at the same time. Whether you count the bottomless diversions or endless fights, it is lovely to turn back and gaze all that taking shapes on the colourful canvas of entire exploration. But now this is a bitter pill to swallow to bid a goodbye to the mates with whom we endowed these three years. It's hard to accredit that this staggering journey is coming to an end, making a proclamation that now the time has arrived when we have to wrap our heads around.

Hopefully, we will meet again, have a blast and learn more with each other.

DME has given an excellent platform. I never thought that I would come here and learn so much in my life. College faculty members support and endorse everything. DME is a family they enjoy every event every function at its best.

Layba Chaudhary

An institution that has a clear vision, great campus and helpful management can make any student's graduation life, much easy and comfortable. The faculty members put all efforts to equip students with the best of opportunities and learning. Teachers at DME have been pro-active in helping students with academic problems in a very empathetic manner. I am so grateful to have studied here and received everything from theoretical to practical knowledge. There is never a dull moment among such brilliant minds and pleasant people.

Every journey comes to an end and it must, so that we can start with new chapters of our lives and embark on new adventures of self-fulfilment and career building. After spending three years in this impeccable institution, I have learned not just the academic knowledge but real-life practical experience about friendship, wisdom and empathy. My life has been shaped in so many beautiful ways, and I cannot be thankful enough for the institution's contribution to my personality building. I bagged so many profound memories to look back and so many teachers to draw inspiration during my college years.

Time Flies! Actually!

Not just memories I am taking along, some great friends too, who've been together through thick and thin! I call them my HOMIES now, indeed!

Not forgetting some of our brilliant faculty members too (Cheers to Harjeet Sir) who have not just given us knowledge relating to the subject but some fantastic life lessons also. We made sure their lectures weren't missed, not even for a single day as they were so intriguing. Getting clicked every time during events at the famous RED WALL of DME will be remembered forever. It was a cool spot for getting pictures!

I am going to miss these three years of my college life (feeling nostalgic while writing this note), and I wish all the best to newcomers!

It feels like yesterday that I took admission in DME!

From never-ending chit chat to uncontrollable laughter! From attending lectures to handling events in college! DME has undoubtedly given me the best moments.

You guys are truly going to enjoy this phase of life!

Lastly, big thanks to DME for this tremendous journey!

I guess just in a blink it all happened!

STUDENTS' ACHIEVEMENTLockdown live: Sreesanth speaks to Shiv Dhawan

Priyanka Naithani

Sreesanth hogged the limelight in 2005 when he

dismissed Sachin Tendulkar in the Challenger

Trophy. His fiery bowling mixed with aggression

provided him wonderful results which led him to

the path of success in his initial years. As time

progressed, Sreesanth landed into different

controversies following which he was accused of

spot-fixing, subsequently, he faced a life ban from

the sport.

Former Indian cricketer S Sreesanth spoke to the

first-year student of DME Media School, Shiv

Dhawan for his Instagram live show “Sports with

Shiv” on July 12, 2020. Sreesanth, who was a part

of two-time World Cup winning team, appeared

in the 23rd episode of the Instagram series of Shiv

Dhawan.

The Kerala express emphasised on his attitude,

determination and the willingness to return to

professional cricket. He spoke about his exploits

in local tennis ball tournaments and the effect

they have on keeping the competitive spirit high

inside of him. The highlight of the session was

Sreesanth's constant message of enduring

challenges and fighting them.

During the live session, Sreesanth shed light on

the challenges he encountered over the years and

the ups and downs of his career. The 37-year-old

pacer motivated the audience and said “People

think that happiness comes from the company but

that's not true, happiness can be found in little

things, for me, happiness is my family and in

reading”.

EXCERPT FROM THE INTERVIEW

All I can say is that luck favours the brave, and you know brave is someone who has worked hard and made his path and left his legacy. In the 2007 World Cup, Dhoni was brilliant, I don't agree with Gambhir Bhai at all. All I can say is every captain is lucky because you get the best 15 who play for the country. Dada is surely the man behind the greatest of players. If Dada had Dhoni as the wicketkeeper in the 2003 World Cup, we would have surely won that because if we had a good number 6-7 at that point of time, we would've won the tournament"

"Never give up. That's my message to everyone. If I can do it, you can do it too".
