ECONOMIC STABILIZATION BOARD

Decision of President of EconomicStabilization Board on Appeal

December 26, 1949The following decision is made by the Presi-

dent of the Economic Stabilization Board afterdeliberation in the Allocation Council on theappeal filed by Wadajima Agricultural Coopera-tive Society, No. 37, Oaza Wadajima, Sakano-machi, Naka-gun, Tokushima Prefecture.

DecisionAs the appeal submitted is recognized to be

reasonable, the Minister of Agriculture andForestry may make the Fertilizer DistributionKodan survey the final intentions of farmersregistered preliminarily to the Wadajima Agri-cultural Cooperative Society, HIRAOKA Chuta-ro, KATAYAMA Giichi, TAMURA Ryoichi.

-14-

Page 15: OFFICIAL GAZETTE ENGLISHjalii.law.nagoya-u.ac.jp/official_gazette/nag_pdf/19500221c_ea.0116… · OFFICIAL GAZETTE ENGLISH GOVERNMENT PRINT18 AgENGY 1 EDJT/ON~1 *3Z-*~¥+-/!5:tB H=:

Reason •E- The appeal read as follows:

Having been preliminarily registered by thefarmers in order to apply for being designatedas a fertilizer dealer, the Society is discontentfor the following reason.

When the Society requested to the town officeto be confirmed the preliminary registration, the office adopted the receipt order method inorder to judge its effect because of MATSUJIKamehachi and 105 others having repeatedly re-gistered to HIRAOKA Chutaro, KATAYAMAGiiehi and TAMURA Rypichi.

Against the above disposition the Society re-quest that: ' , '

(1) As the establishment of the preliminaryregistration period and even the preliminaryregistration itself seems to become unnecessaryin this situation, the review for the dispositionof the office shall be made.

(2) The confirmation that MATSUJI Kame-hachi and 105 others are the' persons registeredto the Society shall be made again.,

The outline of the examination is as follows:. It is recognized to be improper that the deci-sion to the effect for the farmers registrationconcerning the designation of dealers was madeby, the order of date received because of theduplication of registration, and their final in-tentions were not considered. Consequently thebranch office of the Fertilizer Distribution Ko-dan had to confirm their final intentions andapply the authorization of the Minister of Agri-culture and Forestry.
