Student Affairs Office works to foster a safe, positive and an all-

inclusive environment where all feel welcomed, respected, accepted,

and valued and where there is an appreciation for the uniqueness of

every member of the AUA community.

Student Affairs Office creates opportunities for all students to get

involved in the learning community, grow holistically, develop

leadership skills, and become compassionate global citizens.

Office of Student Affairs is located in the recently built Student Union in

Paramaz Avedisian building.

The official opening of the Student Union and Amphitheater took place

on September 26, 2018.

Math & Writing Center

The mission of the center is to equip

students with necessary skills and tools

to become lifelong learners in problem-

solving and writing.

Math & Writing staff provides individual

and group consultations.

The Center regularly hosts various

workshops and competitions.

Counseling Services

Professionally trained staff provide

confidential and caring counseling

services to all AUA students including

individual and group counseling, crisis

intervention, special workshops,

mental health awareness campaigns,

referral services and much more.

Services

AUA aims to establish a learning

environment which supports diverse

student learning abilities and addresses

challenges students may face in pursuit of

their education.

Students with physical, psychological, or

sensory conditions, be they chronic or

temporary, can access the University’s

Disability Support Services.

DSS will assist students who are in need of

accommodations in and outside of the

classroom.
