Office of Career Services Ten Year Follow-Up Survey
Class of 2000
The Office of Career Services annually conducts a follow-up study on the graduating class from the previous year. Periodically, Career Services conducts a follow-up survey of the classes who have graduated 5 and 10 years out. In doing so, we gain significant insight into the career development trends of Ohio Wesleyan graduates. This report presents information with regard to three areas for the class of 2000:
1. Summary Data 2. Employment Information 3. Graduate/Professional School Information
This report may provide useful reference for administration, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, prospective OWU students and families, and campus partners interested in the career-related statistics of our graduates. Methods used to collect data from participants include postal mailings, email, and surveys collected during reunion weekend. Noteworthy findings…
70% have completed or are currently enrolled in graduate degree programs
The top three fields of employment for this class are (in order): Education, Health/Medicine, and Finance
92% are employed in their field of choice
