Log-in to http://my.regent.edu
Click on “Genisys”.
If you get this screen, follow the prompts for each of the updates.
When you have completed your requirements or if you do not get the prompt screen, the following screen should be displayed.
Click on “Student”
Click on “Registration” to begin the registration process.
Click on “Register and Add/Drop Classes”
Select the Term for which you are registering (i.e. Fall 2012, Spring 2013, etc.
Click on “Class Search.”
Click on “Advanced Search.”
The following screen will be displayed:
Under “Subject”, scroll down to highlight a subject area with the heading “UG”. (Note: Comm/Arts students may need to choose a course with the heading “Comm UG”.)
Click “Class Search” at the bottom of the screen.
You can further narrow down your options in the boxes that follow by designating “Virginia Beach Campus” for an on-campus course or “Online Learning” for an online course.
Click on a box next to the course section of your choice.
Note: Classes marked with a “C” are closed, due to being at full capacity.Classes marked “NR” are not currently available for registration.
Course # Title Online or CampusProfessor DateTime (if applicable)CRN Credits
Click on “Register” at the bottom of the screen to register for your selected course. Repeat this process for your remaining courses.
To confirm your registration, click on “Student Detail Schedule”. (It is in tiny font at the very bottom center of the screen.)
The screen below will list important information about each of your classes.
Student ID and Name
Total Semester Credits
Course Title, Number, & Section
Confirmation of Registration
Credit Hours
This course is Online.
This time means “OL course.” This is Session C. Professor & email contact
Textbooks
www.regent.edu/bookstore or 1st floor of the Student Center.
If purchasing online, begin by choosing the correct semester from the “Select A Campus Term” drop-down.
Continue following the prompts to find your correct course and section number.Be sure to order textbooks early so that they arrive on time for the start of class!
