window as an individual shutter set.

A great install will actually have bay posts made-to-measure and fitted so that they marry

Box Bay Shutters require the use of corner posts so that again the window is treated as a single unit rather than installing 3 separate sets of shutters

butted up to each other. It is important that shutters look great from the outside as well as the inside.

Finally it should be noted that with bay windows you cannot fold the shutters from the central window against the wall. If you are looking to open the

central shutters out of the window recess then these will protrude into the room. The fact is that in

general shutters stay shut and that you control light and privacy simply by operating the louvres.
