１．外国人留学生の種類

外国人留学生とは、日本国籍を有しない者で、「出入国管理及び難民認定法」に規定する「留学」

の在留資格（いわゆる「留学ビザ」）を有する者、又は入学時に「留学」を取得できる見込みの者

をいい、その他の在留資格を有する者は外国人留学生には含まれない。外国人留学生は、文部科

学省からの奨学金を受給している国費外国人留学生と受給していない私費外国人留学生に大別さ

れる。

（１）国費外国人留学生

国費外国人留学生には、原則として日本国（文部科学省）から渡日旅費、帰国旅費、さらに

日本での学費・生活費が奨学金として支給される。国費外国人留学生には、選考方法により大

使館推薦、大学推薦、国内採用の３種類がある。

（２）私費外国人留学生

私費外国人留学生とは、国費外国人留学生以外のすべての留学生をいう。この中には、外国

政府派遣留学生、協定大学からの短期留学生、自費留学生が含まれる。

２．外国人留学生の身分

外国人留学生の身分を本学では以下の６種に区分している。

（１）特別聴講学生

海外の協定大学に在籍している学部生または大学院生が、交換留学生として本学の学部・研

究科あるいは国際交流センターに在籍して、特定の科目を聴講する。

（２）特別研究学生

海外の協定大学に在籍している大学院生が、交換留学生として本学の研究科に在籍して、希

望する教員の下で研究指導を受ける。

（３）日本語・日本文化研修留学生

主に大使館および大学推薦による国費研究留学生（日本語・日本文化研修留学生）のための

プログラムで、来日時点で外国の大学学部に在籍して、日本語・日本文化に関する分野を専攻

している人が対象となる。

本学においては、国際交流センターに在籍する。

（４）研究生

本学の指導教員の指導下で特定専門事項についての研究を行う。

（５）学部正規生

本学の学部正規課程に４年間在籍して（医学部・医学科は６年間）、学位取得を目指す制度で

ある。

３．検定料・入学料・授業料

上記（１）から（６）の形態で三重大学に入学する場合、検定料・入学料・授業料等は以下の

４．授業料免除の制度

学業が優秀と認められる学部及び大学院の正規生で、経済的理由で授業料の納付が困難な場合に

は授業料が免除されることがある。

５．奨学金

私費外国人留学生を対象として、日本国政府（学生奨励費）及び民間団体が支給する多くの奨学

金制度がある。

平成２８年度（２０１６年度）三重大学 私費外国人研究生 出願要項

１．出願等の概要

（１）研究生は指導教員のもとに、特定の専門事項について研究するものとします。

（２）研究生の入学期は毎学期の始めとします。（４月又は１０月）

（３）研究生の研究期間は、６か月又は１年とします。

（４）研究生が研究の継続を希望するときは、研究期間満了の３０日前までに研究期間の延長を願い出るもの

とします。ただし、申請可能な延長期間は最大で１年とします。

（５）研究に要する費用は、研究生の負担とします。

（６）研究生の検定料、入学料、授業料は次のとおりです。

① 検定料： 9,800円 （納入後はいかなる場合も返還しません）

② 入学料： 84,600円 ［予定額］（学期開始直後に納入してください）

③ 授業料： 173,400円 ［予定額］（半期分）

（注１）入学料及び授業料は予定額ですので改定されることがあります。

（７）5. に記載する所定の出願書類を三重大学学務部学生サービスチーム留学生支援室に提出してください。

（郵送の場合は封筒の表面に「研究生出願書類在中」と明記してください）

（８）研究生は指導教員と相談し、１週間に１０時間以上の研究を行うこと。

（９）研究生は研究期間満了までに、研究報告書を三重大学学務部学生サービスチーム留学生支援室に提出し

てください。

２．出願資格

出願資格は希望する学部・研究科によって異なります。

各学部・研究科の出願資格は下記のとおりです。

（注１）受付時間は９：００～１７：００です。ただし、土曜日・日曜日及び祝日は除きます。

（注２）出願書類は、原則として本人又は代理人が持参してください。ただし、特別な事情がある場合、郵送

５．出願書類

人文学部・人文社会科学研究科及び教育学部・教育学研究科を希望の場合、

日本語以外で書かれた出願書類は日本語訳を添付してください。

（全学共通必要提出書類）

③支弁能力証明書【様式３】

※添付書類として（A）銀行残高証明書（コピー可）又は（B）受給が決定している奨学金の証明書（証

明書には、奨学金の名前、受給期間、受給額が明示されていること）を提出。

※銀行残高証明書が本人名義ではない場合は、（C）経費支弁書【様式４】に必要事項を記入のうえ、

提出する。

④卒業（修了）証明書又は卒業（修了）見込み証明書（最終学歴校）： 原本又は公証書を提出

※出身校の事情により、卒業証明書を発行できない場合は卒業証書の原本を持参することで、その写し

を卒業証明書の代わりとすることができます。

⑤成績証明書（最終学歴校） ： 原本又は公証書を提出

⑥パスポートの写し（顔写真が記載されているページ）

⑦在留カードの写し（日本在住者に限る）

６．検定料 9,800円 （日本円で納入してください）

７．合否発表 合否の結果発表は、Ｅメールにて通知します。

入学願書に記載されている本人のメールアドレスに通知いたしますので、記入にあたっては

お間違えの無いようご注意ください。

８．入学手続

原則として、下記期間内に本人が来学し入学手続を完了してください。

（１）入学手続期間

4月入学者 平成28年（2016年） 4月 1日 ～ 4月30日

10月入学者 平成28年（2016年） 10月 1日 ～ 10月31日

（注１）ただし、土曜日・日曜日及び祝日は除きます。

（２）入学手続に必要なもの

① 入学金 84,600円

② 授業料 173,400円（6か月）

（注１） 既納の納付金は、いかなる事由があっても返還しません。

1. Foreign Student Categories

“Foreign student” must not possess Japanese citizenship, and must either possess a visa status of “college

student”, or must be able to obtain a visa status of “student” as stipulated by the Immigration Control and

Refugee Recognition Act by the date of admission.

Foreign students are divided into two categories: Japanese government (the Ministry of

Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) scholarship foreign students and

self-financed foreign students.

(1) Japanese Government Scholarship Foreign Student

Japanese government offers them a scholarship which covers travel expenses to and from

Japan, tuition, and living expenses while staying in Japan. Japanese government

scholarship students are divided into the following three categories:

- A student recommend by a Japanese embassy or consulate general outside Japan

(Embassy recommendation)

- A student recommended by Mie University (University recommendation)

- A student selected by Mie University after arriving in Japan (Domestic selection)

(2) Self-financed Foreign Student

“Self-financed foreign student” means a foreign student other than Japanese government

scholarship students. Self-financed foreign students are divided into three categories:

foreign-government sponsored students, short-term student exchange program students,

and others.

2. Foreign Student Status

There are the following six types of foreign student status at Mie University.

(1) Special Auditing Student

A graduate or undergraduate student of an overseas exchange partner university with Mie University

who is enrolled at Mie University as an exchange student to audit specific

(2) Special Research Student

A graduate student of an overseas exchange partner university with Mie University who is enrolled at

Mie University to conduct research under the guidance of his/her academic

(3) Japanese Studies Student

Japanese Studies Student program is intended mainly for Japanese government

scholarship students (Japanese studies students) recommended by embassies or

universities who are enrolled as undergraduate students in faculties or schools of

universities outside Japan which major in Japanese language or culture when they come to

(4) Research Student

This program is for students who conduct research under the guidance of their academic

(5) Undergraduate Student

This program is for students who wish to obtain a degree by completing four years of

undergraduate full-time classes at Mie University (six years in case of Faculty of Medicine

4. Tuition Exemption

High achieving undergraduate and graduate degree students who are unable to pay their

tuition for financial reasons may be exempted from tuition.

5. Scholarship

Many scholarships offered by the Japanese government (Honors Scholarships) and private

organizations are available to self-financed foreign students. For details, please refer the

Application Guide for Self-financed Research Students

1. Outline

(1) Research students conduct research in their specialized fields under the guidance of their academic

advisors.

(2) New students are admitted in the beginning of each semester (in April or October).

(3) Research duration is six months or one year.

(4) Those who want to continue their research must apply for an extension 30 days before their research

completion date. The extension period shall be limited to one academic year.

(5) Research students are responsible for the expenses necessary for research.

(6) The fees are as follows:

(i) Examination fee: ¥9,800 (The examination fee must be paid upon application and is not

refundable under any circumstances.)

(ii) Entrance fee: ¥84,600 (The entrance fee must be paid immediately in the beginning of semester.)

(iii) Tuition: ¥173,400 per semester

(Note 1) The entrance fee and tuition are subject to change.

(7) Applicants or agents must submit the application documents described in Section 5 to the International

Student Office in Mie University.（If the application documents will be delivered by post, please write

“Enclosing Application Documents for Research Student” on the envelope.）

(8) Research students must submit their research reports to the International Student Office by their

research completion date.

(Note 1) Weekends and national holidays are excluded.

(Note 2) In principle, you or your agent must submit your application documents in person.

However, you may mail the documents if special circumstances make it desirable. Please inform

us by e-mail before you send the documents.

5. Application Documents

When you apply to the Faculty of Humanities, Law and Economics, the Faculty of Education, the

Graduate School of Humanities and Social Studies, or the Graduate School of Education, application

documents must be written in Japanese or be accompanied by Japanese translation.

(d) Certificate of graduation or Certification that you will graduate

* When you cannot publish certificate of graduation by circumstances of the alma matter, we regard the copy

of the diploma as the substitute. In that case, you must bring the original of your diploma to International

Student Office.

In principle, you must complete the admission procedures in person at Mie University during the specified

period.

Admission for April: April 1 – 30, 2016

Admission for October: October 1 – 31, 2016

(Note 1) Weekends and national holidays are excluded.
