Katie Rhodes had a tremendousperformance at our season opener!Katie, along with Sydney Miller, are ourleaders for our Varsity Girls Team. Katiehas always pushed herself to be betterand in yesterday’s match, she put uppersonal bests in individual games, a 263,and series 631. Great job, Katie!

Corbin is a tireless worker who strives everyday to better himself as a swimmer and a leader whodemonstrates selflessness daily. Our team is made up ofall levels of abilities, maturity, and motivation. Regardlessof the level, Corbin demonstrates a skill to relate with allteam members and earn the respect of histeammates. His capacity to be engaging, providing asense of humor, and being approachable for all, are only afew examples of why he is so well respected andliked. Students taking Programming classes, Spanish or French 4,

12th Grade AP English Literature, AP European History, AP U.S. History,

AP Music Theory, AP Government (Second Semester only) – College Now

enrollment will begin on Tuesday, January 16th. Please see the OE

Counseling website for up-to-date information. The deadline to register

for classes is February 09th.

KC Scholars ProgramKC Scholars, a scholarship program designed to help students and adult learners finance andcomplete a college education, has now opened their 2018 applications! Scholarships areavailable for 9th and 11th grade students, as well as adult learners. Olathe East is offering severalinformational sessions for students and parents. These include:

KC Scholars Info Session for 11th Grade students, offered during Hawk Hour A or Hawk Hour Bon January 30th & January 31st in the Drama Theater.

KC Scholars Representatives visit to Olathe East on Enrollment Night, February 05th. KCScholars Representatives will be available in the Foyer from 530-730pm. Families shouldbring 2016 tax information in order to determine financial eligibility for the scholarship.
