Main Office Tuition Invoice
For those students enrolled in Choir, Photography or Studio Art, the one-time classfees will be added to your tuition invoice for September. They will be deducted fromyour account on either the 5th or the 20th of the month, depending on which date youselected for automatic tuition payments. The fees are: Choir - $35, Photography -$75 and Studio Art - $100. Please contact Christine Naranjo Clarke with questions.
Student Life O'Dea/HNA Frosh Trip to Puyallup Fair
All O’Dea freshmen are invited to join Holy Names freshmen for a fun day at thePuyallup Fair, Saturday, September 17th from 8:45am - 3pm! The first 100 studentswill receive a free fair ticket and be driven by charter bus to the fair to spend the daygetting to know each other and enjoying fair activities and rides. Ticket sign-ups willbegin Sept. 8 in the House Hub on a first-come, first-serve basis. O’Dea studentswho sign up should meet at O’Dea at 8:45am on Sept. 17. (Any students beyond thefirst 100 will need to arrange their own transportation.) O’Dea chaperones willaccompany the freshmen group. Any questions, please contact House Director Mr.Daniel P. O'Dea/HNA Frosh Social
The Frosh Social brings together O’Dea and Holy Names freshmen for food, gamesand activities in the O’Dea gym, Saturday, September 17th from 7-10pm. Allfreshmen are invited to join in the fun, which will include a pizza dinner, DJ, andhours of dancing! Tickets will be on sale for $10 in the House Hub beginning Sept. 8. Any questions, please contact House Director, Mr. Dan Mullen.
Back to School Dance
The first dance to kick off the school year will be held on September 10th in theO'Dea gym from 8-11 pm. The theme is "Glowing Back to School", so students willbe encouraged to wear clothes that will glow in the dark or light up with the aid of ablack light! Dance admission is $5, which includes a food voucher. Tickets can bebought at school. Guest passes for non-Holy Names/O'Dea students are required.These forms can be found on the O'Dea website. If you have questions please directthem to Mr. Dan Mullen.
Class of 2020 New Family Picnic
Please join us on Sunday, September 11th from 1-4pm at Woodland Park for theClass of 2020 New Family Picnic. This is a fun event for the entire family to enjoyand meet other O’Dea/Holy Names Academy families! The cost is $12 per person;children under age 4 are free. Please return your registration form to the main office.
Athletics Fighting Irish Football & The Little Irish
Come cheer on the Fighting Irish Football Team in their season opener vs. LincolnHigh School, Friday, September 2nd @ 7pm, West Seattle Stadium.
Also, it is not too late to sign up your child, or someone you know, to be a part of theLittle Irish Program, designed to match a child (grades K-6) with a football player atO’Dea High School. This program encourages the responsibility in our players to bepositive role models not only for the Little Irish but for the entire O’Dea community,and that in turn, your child will flourish under the wings of a high school mentor, or“Big Brother.”
The Little Irish will be paired with their buddy at the first meeting on Wednesday,August 31st, at 5:30pm in the O'Dea Gym.

Plan to attend to receiveimportant information regarding the upcoming school year! Let Mr. Ruiter know if youhave any questions. Advancement Office Fall Fundraiser - October 3rd to October 28th
The Fall Fundraising campaign will directly involve all O’Dea students and familiesand will raise funds for athletics and co-curricular activities which will enhance ourstudents’ experiences outside the classroom. More detailed information will be senthome soon.

Fathers' Club Welcome back!
The Fathers' Club is gearing up for another great school year. Our first meeting willbe Wednesday, September 7 at 6:30pm in the Biology Lab. All O’Dea dads areinvited to attend this meeting. See you there!
Volunteering
The Fathers’ Club is looking for volunteers to help at the first home football game onFriday, September 2 at 7pm at West Seattle Stadium. Volunteers are needed to helpwith ticket sales/admission, logo sales, and chain crew. Any O’Dea dads interestedin helping can contact Fathers’ Club president, Doug Taliaferro, [email protected].
Mothers' Club Bite of O'Dea
We would love your help at this year's Bite of O'Dea scheduled for Saturday,October 1st! This event is a ladies only gathering in the O'Dea gym that includeshome cooked (by you) food, drinks, entertainment and a fundraising activity tosupport our mission, which is to provide funds and promote the welfare of ourstudents.
