Modern Day Miracles

We have many stories from the past fewmonths on how the Father is moving in our lives,we dont know where to begin.

Two months ago, one of our dear friendsmentioned discretely that he thought he had thegift of healing and he would like to pray for us.

After a long drive he anointed me with oil, prayed,then made the trek back home. Although mysymptoms from MS were still very apparent, wedid notice several weeks later that the bouts withheavy fatigue were gone! This is a huge blessingfrom the Lord Jesus and allows so much moreenergy to do what Hes called us to do.

Miracle number two came in the form of our newposition of service with the Navigators. Threeyears ago some friends of mine and I visited

every major Army instillation and prayed that Godwould give the Navigators great success inproclaiming the gospel and raising up laborers forthe Kingdom (Josh 1.3). Since then we haveexperienced incredible success in reachingsoldiers for Christ. At the time there were only 8functioning Navigator Army ministries. Todaythere are 27. Recently, I was appointed theDirector of Army Ministries under our new MilitaryMission structure. Im humbled and excited aboutserving in this new capacity. Who would havethought a long walk about the Army would lead tosuch a fantastic opportunity to serve in HisKingdom?And you may know, we are spending half theyear helping Mark and Patty Stoneburner with thecadet ministry at West Point. This meansmaintaining 2 different living arrangements.

Thelogistics of such an undertaking seemed

overwhelming. But God has supplied the

resources in miraculous ways. We found an

unfurnished apartment for reasonable rent.

The very next day West Point was having apost wide yard sale. We ended up furnishing

3/4 of the apartment for $180. Amazing! We

call our new place HQ2.

On the family front the boys (or should I say men) are doin

very well. Chuck is more that half way through Infantry Officer

Basic and enjoying every minute. He is finally doing what hesdreamed of for years. After the holidays he will be attending

Ranger school. Pray for Him. Hell be a winter Ranger.

Wes isattending Pacific Lutheran University on a full ROTC

scholarship. Hes helping out with the Ft Lewis Navigator Ministry

leading a Bible study and discipling men. We are looking forward

to both of them being home for Christmas.
