CALEB MINISTRY BLESSED BY LOCAL FOOD DRIVE
Caleb has been asked for the following items by churches and/or villages:
Medications—over-the- counter medications/half used medicines (call Connie Phillips at
206.200.7893 to verify usability)
Clothing—Linens, cloth, light weight summer clothing, shoes (especially flip-flops), winter clothing,
& larger sized clothing. Romania is seeking heavier clothing and donations of food items to minister
to the poor in south Serbia.
Baby blankets & quilts
Food—rice, beans, Spam, canned meats of any kind. Velveeta cheese, canned cocoa, and powdered
milk
Musical Instruments (small)—accordions, harmonicas, violins, keyboards, etc.
Hygiene items—tooth- brushes, scented soap, travel-sized shampoo and toothpaste, and bandages
Bibles—and books on scripture, study Bibles.
All forms of School Supplies.
The Caleb Family was blessed mightily for its monthly packing of boxes of food, clothing and medical sup-
plies for shipment to The Philippines. Thursday evening, the eve before we packed on the last Friday of the
month, a team of about 15 youth, pastors and advisors arrived at Caleb House bringing a truck load of food
and supplies for our shipment to 24 villages on Luzon, Samar, Leyte and Mindanao islands. Along with the
participants came a gift of $880.00 to cover half of the shipping expense. Because of injuries Jerry Riess
sustained in Kenya in June, this church group recognized we would not have sufficient supplies or funds for
the monthly shipping without outside help. Their gift has blessed us greatly as well as being a welcome help
to the many families served in the islands.

BIBLES SHIPPED BY CALEB TO GHANA WORKSHOP
At the request of Cornerstone Ministries
of Australia, Caleb Ministries is answer-
ing their call to provide up to 550 Bibles
for a Pastors Conference being held in
Mfanteman District, Ghana, this coming
spring.
The Cornerstone Foundation is assem-
bling a 40-foot container in Silver
Springs, Maryland, filled with clothing,
medical supplies, and now Bibles col-
lected in Seattle, to enhance a pastors’
conference and medical outreach led by
Dr. Stephan Lang and supported by
Caleb Ministres Africa, headed up by
our African Director Chibuzor Eze from
Enugu, Nigeria.
This partnership project grew out of contacts made by Caleb Director Jerry Riess
while on missions in Kenya, and by African Caleb Director Chibuzor Eze who has con-
ducted many smaller medical and pastoral outreaches in West Africa. This will be our
first project partnership with Australian Cornerstone Ministries in Africa.
Nearly daily, reports are arriving from
new churches enjoying the results of the
recent Caleb Mission Trip and request-
ing formal affiliation with our ministry.
Below is first picture of Jerry Brian
Riess Mwitai of Kenya. The Family
Church in Tanzania has asked we draft
their articles of Assembly to conform to
Caleb Ministry by-laws. We now have
over 100 churches affiliated from
Kenya!

Though my recovery proceeds slowly, I am so very grateful for all those who have stepped up
to provide a greater measure of participation and support in these difficult times. Grounded
from flying to mission fields for the present, Caleb continues serving through the feeding of
hundreds in The Philippines, Africa and Eastern
Europe. Special projects such as Vita-meal for
malnourished children and medicines for Downs
Syndrome children continue weekly. We are now
petitioning for Feeding Programs in Kenya, Nige-
ria and Mexico. Quality clothing is flowing di-
rectly through Caleb to mountain villages and
children’s homes in The Philippines.
We have provided food and clothing and medical
care locally to those in need and have seen three
homeless leave the streets as they endeavor to
overcome addictions and illnesses. The letters and
e-mails of prayers, fasting and interventions to
restore my health leave me speechless. Indeed, we all need to realize moment by moment,
great is Our God and greatly to be praised!
