October Newsletter
Page 2
I am very excited to publish this special edition newsletter
featuring our new logo and rebranding project. April
15th, 2015 will go down in the books as a historic day in
our Club’s history. On this day, a new logo and Club re-
branding project was brought to life by Eastern Kentucky
University President, Michael T. Benson. His vision of a
private club closely tied with the University inspired a re-
design and focus to build and improve on the traditions firmly established here. This new direction, sup-
ported by the University, our Club Members, and the surrounding Richmond community, will ensure The
University Club at Arlington will remain one of the finest private clubs.
I encourage all members to come and take a look at the revamped clubhouse. New features include mem-
orabilia and artwork centered around the EKU Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams, as well as our proud Club
history. I would like to extend a special thanks to all The University Club and EKU staff and board members
for their support and hard work throughout this process.

The morning of April 15th, 2015 marks the presentation and launch of the
University Club at Arlington. Eastern Kentucky University and Club

direction for our Club. President Michael T. Benson, Foundation Board
Chair Tim Brown and Board of Regents Chair Craig Turner highlighted
the many positive changes the Club has experienced this year. All were ex-
cited to see the continuous improvement and commitment to the Club’s suc-
cess. All in attendance were eager to see the upcoming projects unfold and
look forward to what the future holds for The University Club at Arlington.
