Student Engagement with the iPad

• English 9- Romeo and Juliet – teacher is using an animated app to begin a scene in order to draw students into the action

• World Languages- teachers are scanning documents to PDFs in order for students to be able to electronically manipulate them with notes and highlights

• Math- teachers are using graphing calculator app

• One math teacher is recording lessons on Educreations and posting the lessons for home viewing on her Edmodo page

Student Engagement with the iPad

• Band teacher uses the iPads during instrumental warm up activities

• Digital Design- students are taking photos with iPads and emailing them in order to work on their digital design projects

• Zoology- students who attended the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo field trip took their iPads to take pictures and then created a Keynote presentation to explain the different types of animals and habitats

• Physical Education- Students are tracking fitness and calorie data to share with teacher
