Our church approved a Student Ministry intern position at our July business meeting. The job has been posted along with a copy of the job description at the HUB and in the

Student Ministry area.

Ladies Bible Studies

The Wednesday night Bible study, led by Britni Winburn, is continuing Iva May’s W3: Women, Worldview, and the Word. Books can be purchased at

www.chronologicalbibleteaching.com. Having a book is helpful but not required for participation. They meet in the Parlor at 6:20 pm on Wednesday.

Ms. Ellen Clark is leading Kaye Arthur’s Covenant. It’s not too late to begin the class. This study will meet in the Office building from 9-11:30 a.m. each Wednesday.

The Student Praise and Worship Choir will not meet today. All students 7th-12th grades are invited to join us in the

Choir Room Sunday, October 14 at 4:15 for our next rehearsal.

It’s time to begin the process of establishing a budget for our 2019 church year. Committee chairs who need to request funds may pick up Budget Request

Forms from the office or the Information Desk.

There will be NO kid or student activities held on Wednesday, October 10 due to Fall Break. There will be NO meal. Prayer Meeting only at 6:30 pm.

The October Deacon’s Meeting will be held October 14 at 4:00 pm. Our monthly Business Meeting will follow the evening worship on October 14.

We need volunteers for the town nativity scene on Friday, Nov. 30. If you are interested in helping with this ministry please contact Phillip Butler.
