16th Annual Willson Pottery Show - Collectors from various parts of Texas gather together to view and sell pottery from the 1800’s to present. At 9:30 am. You’re So Crafty pottery making classes every hour. Sebastopol, 704 Zorn Street.

Fire Prevention at the Heritage Museum, Participants can have their picture taken on a vintage fire truck parked on N. River in front of the Museum. Photo’s can then be picked up inside of the museum. No charge for a 4 x 6 photo, but donations are welcomed. All proceeds will benefit the Heritage Museum. 114 N. River Street.

Magnolia Hotel Open House Tours Free guided tours of the Magnolia Hotel. 203 S. Crockett Street.

The Red Barn - home of the “Real” Big Pecan will feature the Pecan Museum of Texas. The Pecan Museum displays pecan equipment, examples of pecan wood, pecan memorabilia, examples of pecan varieties, a collection of nutcrackers, the history of the pecan industry. A fun display of many characters, created by folk artist, B.W. Crawford. The characters include Mickey Mouse & Snoppy, the Smurfs, stars like Liberache, Johnny Carson & Elvis and so much more. Turkey & Dressing Lunch ($10.00), prepared by Dixie Grille and concessions will be available. Contests include a Pecan Baking Contest and a Pecan Queens Contest. Entertainment includes a puppet show, scavenger hunts & games for kids & adults. Free Kiddie Train Rides & Hay Rides and a photo “op” with the Big Pecan and “Real” big squirrel. Pecans and pecan products and various items in vendor booths will be on sale. There will be animals and the historical country village to visit plus a Jeep Stacking Display. Seguin Art League 2nd Annual Wet Paint Sale, Seguin Art League will be selling historical and pecan influenced art work at Park Plaza Hotel, 217 S. River Street.

Shopping and More at Trade Days, Over 100 vendors set up around Central Park selling pecan products, arts, crafts, jewelry, plants, clothing, and collectibles. Trade Days will also feature a Beer and Wine Garden in Central Park serving local craft beers and wines. Live entertainment will perform from the band stand in Central Park all afternoon.

Go Nuts about Arts and Craft activities with local artists, Teatro de Artes and Seguin Art League, Central Park, 201 S. Austin Street. Canine Celebration of Seguin Heritage, Dress your pooch in a costume either celebrating Seguin’s rich history and heritage or Seguin’s famous pecan. Pecan Party - Pecan Fest is a time for us to all go a little nuts and so it makes sense that our Pecan Party will feature live music from a couple of lunatics. Phil Luna and the Lunatics will perform in the bandstand in Central Park. The Pecan Party is a replication of our Summer Concert Series, everyone is invited to come out to enjoy a free concert. Artists meet at the Seguin Art League and then spread out over downtown Seguin to paint land marks and scenes from downtown. Artists will turn in their artwork at 5pm that afternoon. The artwork will be judged and sold at the Park Plaza Hotel Seguin on Saturday from 10am - 4:30pm, 104 S. Austin Street.

29th Annual Juan Seguin Celebration of Life Join the Seguin family in celebrating the life of a Texas Legend A True Texas Hero Juan N. Seguin. Guest speaker and author of “The Woman of Juan Seguin’s Life, Women in War-Torn World”, Dr. Caroline Castillo Crimm. No admission and open to the general public. Hats Off to Juan Seguin, This annual celebration of our city’s namesake is all about fun. To honor Seguin’s birthday, everyone is asked to show up wearing a fun, creative hat. The event includes a competition for the most creative hat. Register your hat beginning at 6:30pm with the judging starting at 7. After Hats Off, stick around downtown for the second annual Pecan Fest Pub Crawl. Wear your hat all evening long as you go bar to bar. 201 S. Austin Street.
