Scott R.G. Parsons

Alamos Gold has appointed Scott R.G. Parsons as VP exploration. He succeeds Chris Rockingham, who has retired; Parsons joined Alamos in 2018. Previously, he was manager of regional exploration and geoscience at TMAC Resources, and was responsible for resource expansion and regional exploration at the Hope Bay project. Prior to that, Parsons served as VP of corporate development at Northern Superior Resources, and was an exploration geologist and project geologist at BHP Billiton.

Bertrand Brassard

Troilus Gold has promoted Bertrand Brassard to chief geologist. Brassard joined Troilus as senior project geologist in 2018; prior to joining Troilus, his 35-year career was focused on Quebec, in areas such as Sept-Îles, Schefferville, Kuujjuak, Raglan, James Bay and the Abitibi. Brassard formerly served as CEO, president and director of ILedor Exploration, president of Diamond Discoveries International, VP of Nevado Resources and chief geologist for Labrador Iron Mines.

Lana Shipley is now a director of GT Gold. Shipley has over 14 years of experience in the areas of corporate and commercial law. She is a partner at Lawson Lundell LLP in Vancouver. Shipley’s Indigenous and environmental law practice involves assisting with the negotiation of impact benefit and other agreements with Indigenous groups in relation to proposed developments, as well as permitting and regulatory matters that arise in the development of projects.

» Bruce Reid has been appointed interim CFO of Altair Resources, following Nick DeMare’s resignation. » Jim Kirke has been appointed CFO of Alto Ventures.» Following its acquisition of the Blackwater project, Artemis Gold has announced senior-level additions to its team. Nick Campbell is now VP of capital markets, Klaus Popelka has been named manager of resource geology and Ryan Todd is now VP of environment and social responsibility.

» Benz Mining has strengthened its senior executive team: Danielle Giovenazzo has been named VP of exploration, Xavier Braud is now head of corporate development for Australia and Paul Fowler has been named head of corporate development for Canada; Braud will also serve as CEO. In addition, Evan Cranston has been appointed chairman, replacing Nick Tintor, who will remain a director. Peter Williams has been named a director.

» Rob Bruggeman has been appointed president, CEO and a director of Canstar Resources.» Natasha Tsai is now the CFO of Cascadero Copper, replacing Lorne Harder, who remains corporate secretary and a director of the company.

Louise Grondin has been appointed to the board of Champion Iron; Grondin is

senior VP, people and culture at Agnico Eagle Mines.

» Class 1 Nickel & Technologies has appointed Alan King to its technical management team.

» Alex Klenman has been appointed CEO of Cross River Ventures, replacing John Fraser, who remains president and CFO.

» Paul Goranson is now CEO of EnCore Energy, replacing Dennis Stover, who will continue as chief technical officer and a director.

» Andrea Zaradic has joined Euro Manganese as VP of operations, and Thomas Gluck has been appointed chief technology officer. Tom Stepien has been appointed as a director.

» Varshan Gokool has resigned as president, CEO and a director of Euromax Resources. The company has appointed Tim Morgan-Wynne, previously non-executive chairman and a director, as executive chairman. Nicolas Treand has been appointed president in addition to his executive role in charge of Macedonian affairs.

» Rajesh Sharma is now the interim CEO of Fancamp Exploration.

» Robert Dinning has been named CFO and a director of Far Resources.

» FenixOro Gold has appointed Jing Peng as CFO.

» James Scott has joined Fireweed Zinc’s management team as senior VP of projects.

» Mal Karwowska has resigned as VP corporate development with First Mining Gold.» Fission Uranium has appointed Ross McElroy as CEO, replacing Devinder Randhawa, who retired from the management team and board and has moved to its advisory board. Fission has also named Darian Yip as independent chairman.

» Fokus Mining has appointed Jean Rainville president and CEO and to its board. Rainville replaces Thibaut Segeral, who will continue to serve as chairman. Pierre Vézina has also resigned as a director.

» Alan Buckley has been named CFO of Galantas Gold.» Genius Metals has appointed Michel Boily as VP exploration. David Shaw has joined the company’s board of directors and Anthony Frizelle has joined its advisory board.

» Jeff Poloni has joined Global Vanadium as CEO and a director.

» Gary Thompson has been appointed CEO of Gold79 Mines, in addition to his role as executive chairman. Robert Johansing has been appointed VP exploration, stepping down from his previous position as CEO. Johansing remains a director.

» GoldMining has appointed John Griffith as chief development officer of its subsidiary, Gold Royalty; he has also joined the advisory board. Ian Telfer has joined Gold Royalty as chairman of its advisory board. Alastair Still has been appointed

as executive VP and chief development officer and as director of technical services of Gold Royalty.» Grizzly Discoveries has announced that Chris Beltgens will lead its corporate development efforts.

» Harte Gold has announced senior management changes: Frazer Bourchier is now the company’s president, CEO and a director, replacing Sam Coetzer, who has stepped down as president and CEO, but will continue as a director. Martin Raffield has also stepped down as executive VP and COO, but will remain a consultant until the Sugar zone expansion feasibility study is completed. Dan Gagnon has been promoted to VP of operations, from his previous post as general manager of the Sugar zone mine. Bourchier was most recently COO of Detour Gold.» Susan Neale and Sheryl Dhillon have been named CFO and corporate secretary, respectively, of Heatherdale Resources. S. Mark Peters and Trevor Thomas resigned from these roles.

» Honey Badger Exploration has appointed Eduardo Baer as CEO, replacing Chad Williams, who will remain chairman of the board. Baer has also joined the board of directors. Pat Dubreuil has been appointed VP of community and First Nations engagement. Donna Yoshimatsu is also joining the company as VP of investor relations; Edmond Thorose is joining Honey Badger as VP of corporate development.

» Meridius Resources has named Amrik Virk as CEO; Peter Espig will transition from the CEO role to a director.

» Dave Cross is now the CFO of Millrock Resources.» Ian Peres has resigned as president and CFO of Moneta Porcupine Mines. He will remain a director.

» Hugo Sibony has resigned as CFO of Napier Ventures but will remain a director. Earl Hope has been appointed interim CFO.

» Sean Hurd has been named president and CEO of Norseman Capital and David Robinson has been appointed the company’s CFO; Campbell Smyth is now chairman of the board. John William Barr is stepping down as CEO and chairman but will continue as a director.

» Sylvain Guerard has been appointed senior VP of exploration for Orla Mining.» Orford Mining has appointed Michelle Sciortino as VP of exploration and named Alger St-Jean as chief geoscientist.

» Randy Koroll has resigned from his roles as CFO and director with Pedro Resources. Fiona Fitzmaurice has been named CFO.

» Osisko Mining has announced that Mathieu Savard has been promoted to the president role and John Burzynski has been appointed chairman, succeeding Sean Roosen, who remains a director. Burzynski remains the company’s CEO.

» Pacific Bay Minerals has announced that Sebastien Ah Fat is joining as VP of exploration, Antonio Vespa has been named VP of operations, and Helder Carvalho is now VP of corporate development. William Smith has also joined the board.

» Steven Williams has resigned as president, CEO and a director of Pasinex Resources. Larry Seeley, a director of the company, will become executive chair.

» Pretium Resources has announced that Tom Yip, executive VP and CFO, will be departing the company on

Oct. 30, or earlier. Matthew Quinlan has joined the company as VP finance and, following Yip’s departure, as CFO. Quinlan was previously interim CFO of Trevali Mining.» Christian Tweedy has joined Puma Exploration as head of capital markets communications.

» Rob McMorran has resigned as CFO of Santacruz Silver Mining, but will remain an advisor. Arturo Prestamo, executive chairman, has been appointed interim CFO.

» Tara Hassan is now the VP of corporate development with SilverCrest Metals.» South32 and Trilogy Metals, partners in the Ambler Metals joint venture, appointed Ramzi Fawaz as the president and CEO of Ambler Metals.» Lindsay Hamelin is now the corporate secretary of Supernova Metals; Roger March has been named a director.

» Teck Resources has announced VP appointments: Alejandro Vasquez is now VP, South America, following the retirement of Chris Dechert. Justine Fisher has been appointed VP and

treasurer, following Scott Wilson’s retirement. Amber Johnston-Billings will become VP of communities, government affairs and HSEC (health, safety, environment and communities) systems effective Oct. 12, following the retirement of Mark Edwards. Jeff Hanman, previously VP, corporate affairs, has been appointed VP, office of the CEO. Doug Brown has been appointed VP, corporate affairs, following Hanman’s transition.

» Martin Bajic has been appointed CFO, corporate secretary and a director of Top Exploration, replacing Barry Hartley, who resigned.» Brendan Creaney, currently VP of investor relations with Trevali Mining, has been appointed interim CFO.

» Richard Gosse is now VP exploration of Trilogy Metals.» Upper Canyon Minerals has announced that Brian Thurston and Jamie Lewin have resigned as directors; Thurston has also resigned as CEO, and Lewin has resigned as CFO. Christopher Cooper and Desmond Balakrishnan have been appointed to the board; Cooper has been appointed CEO, and Daryn Gordon has been appointed CFO.

Taseko Mines’ open pit copper-molybdenum Gibraltar mine in B.C. has received the Jake McDonald Annual Mine Reclamation Award for its programs centred on collaborative research, from the British Columbia Technical and Research Committee on Reclamation (TRCR). Gibraltar is recognized for its research and programs related to the structural development of soil microbial communities, which builds off 45 years of reclamation at Gibraltar. In addition, the company has demonstrated a collaborative approach with local Indigenous communities that pairs traditional and scientific knowledge and communication.
