Welcome to Perth College Outside School Hours CareThe Perth College OSHC Program will be operating from Tuesday 1 October until Monday 14 October 2019. Before School Care and After School Care will reopen on Tuesday 15 October 2019.

Girls and boys from other schools are invited to attend the Perth College holiday program. Vacation Care is available for girls and boys from Kindergarten to Year 6.

FeesPayment for the Vacation Care program, including any additional costs for excursions and incursions, will be debited from your nominated bank account or credit card fortnightly by iPay in HubHello.

The cost each day will be $75 per child. Excursions and incursions incur an additional cost to the daily fee and are clearly marked in the program.

• Log on to https://perthcollegeoshc.hubworks.com.au/registrations/register and complete the online enrolment form

• Confirm that your enrolment is processed and accepted

• Enable booking confirmation emails• Check your credit card or direct debit

information is up-to-date on your online enrolment details

• Sign and return the Parent Agreement Form, Photo Consent Form, and Complying Written Arrangement if claiming Child Care Subsidy

• Provide medical plans if required, as well as immunisation records

• Bookings can then be made in BookMe on your HubHello account

Cancellation PolicyWe require 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation of a place at Out of School Hours Care or payment will be charged in full, unless a medical certificate is provided.

What Should My Child Bring?

Children are required to bring their morning tea, lunch and a refillable drink bottle. Please ensure you do not send your child with any food containing nuts; this includes Nutella. Afternoon tea is provided.

Children must bring a hat and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes and enclosed shoes as we often have outdoor play. Please: no flip flops or open sandals.

Strictly no money or children’s toys (including Gameboy, DS, iPad, iPod and Tamagotchis) are to be brought to the program.

Perth College October Vacation Care ScheduleWeek One

Tuesday 1 October Animal Day and RSPCA Incursion – additional cost $5Dress up as your favourite animal or bring in an animal soft toy. Learn interesting facts, have fun with some art and craft, and make some pet treats. The RSPCA will also be visiting us at 10.00 am.

Wednesday 2 October Camping DayLet’s spend the day outdoors! Set up a tent and camp right on the oval. We will play games and tell stories, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.. Be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit messy as we will be outdoors for most of the day.

Thursday 3 October Caversham Wildlife Park Excursion – additional cost $15We will be going to Caversham Wildlife Park! Feed and pet the kangaroos and wallabies, visit the animals and watch interactive demonstrations. Please note, the bus will be leaving the centre at 9.30 am for the excursion.

Friday 4 October Future Me DayCome dressed up as what you would like to be when you grow up! Listen to and engage with some special volunteer parent speakers on the day about their careers and learn and try out being a carpenter, a programmer, a scientist, a sculptor or a baker.

Week Two

Monday 7 October The Science of FoodAprons on! Let’s investigate how bread is made, grow rock candy, find out how popcorn is made and make some ice-cream. Be sure to bring a food-safe container for your goodies.

Tuesday 8 October Aeronautics and Vehicles Day & RAC Road Safety Incursion - no additional costChallenge yourself and make a plane that can fly the furthest or make and race a LEGO balloon-powered car! The RAC will also visit us today to teach us about road and bike safety from 12.45 pm to 2.20 pm.

Wednesday 9 October Athletics DayRunning shoes on! Come in for our own athletics day. Do an obstacle course, run a relay or fun run, and participate in some sport games.

Thursday 10 October Nearer to Nature Indigenous Incursion - additional cost $15Hunt and gather, listen to dreamtime stories and receive ceremonial face paint as we discover the ways of the Nyoongar people. Nearer to Nature will visit us at 10 am. Please wear clothes that allow you to move around comfortably and that you don’t mind getting messy!

Friday 11 October Back in Time DayDiscover the changes in technology over time! Create a time capsule, learn about how Polaroids are taken and how they work, and play some music using a record player.

Week Three

Monday 14 October Monster Mash PartyLet’s have a monster mash dance party! Come dressed up as a monster and finish the holidays with lots of fun and games.
