KINGDOM CHALLENGE The Administrative team is actively working for the future of the Basin Baptist Network. We believe that we can do more together than what we can do alone. We also believe that our witness is strengthened when churches partner together to further the kingdom. As churches in the network, we want to strengthen and encourage one another. The Administrative Team has met to begin the process of selecting the next Network Coordinator. We have already received several resumes and will continue to receive resumes until September 30th. We value your input as we begin the search for the Network Coordinator. A member of the Administrative Team will be calling each of the member churches of the Basin Baptist Network in coming weeks. We would love for you to share your dreams for, the purpose of, and your concerns about the Network. What do you believe to be the role of the Network Coordinator? How can the Network and Network churches serve your church? How can your church serve other churches in the Network? If you would like to share your input or would like to have a more involved role in the search for a network coordinator, please feel free to contact any member of the Administrative team: Vaughny Taylor [email protected] Office: 432-337-6417 Cell: 432-230-2411 Rick Holeman [email protected] Office 432-684-7562 Cell: 432-425-9724 Martin Ortega Sr [email protected] Office 432-686-8209 Cell: 432-556-1212 Mike Bartlett [email protected] Cell 432-553-6787 Jimmy Daniel [email protected] Office: 432-681-8200 Cell: 432-661-0207 Jackie Brem [email protected] Office: 432-337-8381 Cell Phone 325-242-2662. Please pray with us as seek God plans for our network and as we seek to be the presence of Christ in the Permian Basin. Please keep the Administrative Team in your prayers as we search for the next Network Coordinator. Pray for a vision for the Network that will serve, strengthen, support, and connect churches. Serving Christ, The Administrative Team.

Midland Baptist CRISIS Center “Where need and opportunity meet.
Hello everyone. This past month the D.M.A group from First Baptist of Midland came to help pack some sack lunches for our homeless friends. THANK YOU Jana and the D.M.A.’s for all your help! I was shopping at a local store the day before they came, getting a few items to put in those bags. As I turned down one of the aisles, a young woman approached me, and I recognized her as a Crisis Center client. She had been to the Crisis Center several times over the past few years for help with food and clothes for her family. She walked up to me and said “Thank you for all the help you have given my family. We have been struggling for a long time, but we’re doing better now. I just started working here (at the store), and God has really been blessing me and working in my life. Thank you for always being there for us in our times of need.” A few weeks later, I was in a local fast restau-rant eating breakfast with my children. As I was getting ready to pay, a restaurant employee came from the back and whispered to the person taking my order “Give him my employee discount.” I recognized her as a Crisis Center client also. She said, “Thank you for all the help you have given me. It has really made a difference in my life and helped me through some difficult days.” Food and clothes seem relatively simple to many of us. We almost take for granted the fact that we have access to them every day with very little wanting for them. Many in our city, however, are left wanting for food and clothes. Some of them find us and we are able to meet their needs. We strive always to treat them with the kindness and love of Jesus Christ, and point them to Him as the one who can satisfy the longing of their souls. Thank you, churches of the Basin Baptist Network, for your faithful prayers, support, and love that allow us to be here for them in their times of need. Russell Cowan, MBCC Director
