MISSION STATEMENT
The Community First Conference is an educationalforum designed to assist law enforcement personnel,mental health professionals, judicial officers and othersocial service providers with current research, socialprotocols, and practical information about servicesprovided to persons with a mental illness.
This year's conference theme and topics wereidentified as high priority subject matter by lawenforcement representatives, mental healthprofessionals, community leaders and consumeradvocates who believe that increased knowledge,applied during interventions with consumers and theirfamilies, will promote a better quality of life.
