The geophysical data inspected for interpretation to determine shallow hazards and magnetic anomalies consisted of;

A l l d r i l l i n g ~ites are f ree and c l e a r of shallow d r i l l i n g hazards w i t h i n 500 feet and do not pose any unusual d r i l l i n g problems.
The shal low hazards report for this block has been provided to MMS.

Our Ingleside, Texas shore base w i l l be util ized for this operation. No expansion or additional hiring wi l l be required.
QIL SPILL CONTINGENCY PLAM
An approved updated copy of Cities Service "Oil Spi l l Contingency Plan" is on f i l e with the MMS in Metairie, Louisiana. The shorebase in Ingleside, Texas w i l l be used for a base of operations in the event of a s p i l l . O i l s p i l l equipment i s ava i lab le in Corpus C h r i s t i , Texas and could be deployed in 20 hours.
MUD ADDITIVES
A l i s t of mud additives is appended.
Water depth varies from 93* along the northwestern corner of the block to a maximum of 110' at th? southeast corner of the block.
DRILLING RIG
A description of a jackup dri l l ing rig typical of the rigs which might be used along with a l i s t of pollution prevention equipment i s appended.
AIR EMISSIONS
Drilling Bias Allowing an average of 60 days for each well, i t is estimated
that a maximum of 3 exploratory wells would be d r i l l e d in any one calendar year. U t i l i z i n g table 4-3 of EPA 450/3-77-026 report ent i t l ed "Atmospheric Emissions from Offshore Oi l and Gas Development and Production" that provides a scenario of a 30-day, 10,000' wel l , the following gaseous emissions would be generated.
