Introduction
By using daily deal magento extension one can easily attract customers towards their store. It is used to display news, offers, discounts on the home page. One can easily display this offer on other pages like product and category pages.

1. Login to your Magento Admin Panel

3. Enter your Magento username and password for the Magento Connect Manager.

4. Under the ‘Direct package file upload’ section, select the Choose File button.

6. Click on Return to Admin.
7. Go to System → Cache Management → Flush Magento Cache
8. To Complete installation, logout and log back into your Admin panel

1. Extension will be enabled automatically with the name of Ocodewire_Dailydeal
2. System → Configuration → Advanced → Disable Modules Output to confirm.( It is enabled under name – Ocodewire_Dailydeal)
3. Now there should be one Main Menu named as Daily Deal Product Options (here you can set price, from dates, price for featured product))

4. As a Widget, you can add/edit CMS page > Insert Widget > Select Widget(Ocodewire Daily Deal Product).
5. There are 5 type of templates available:
One Product Template – Only one product in widget, but if you enabled more than one product then it shows the product randomly.
Multiple Product Template – In this all enabled products are Shown.

Today's Deals template - Shows current day's deals.
Upcoming Deals template - Shows upcoming deals.
Expired Deals template - Shows expired deals.
6. Count down timer will be automatically inserted on the Single Product Page and category Grid/list pages.

7. You can Enable/Disable Daily deal box in Left/right sidebar System > Configuration > Ocodewire Daily Deal Configuration .
8. Easily manage all text displayed in the Daily deal box under System > Configuration > Ocodewire Daily Deal Configuration.

1. One Product Template – Only one product in widget, but if you enabled more than one product then it shows the product randomly.

Uninstallation Guide
1. Login to your Magento Admin Panel
2. Go to System → Magento Connect → Magento Connect Manager
3. Enter your Magento Connect Manager username and password
4. Locate the extension you are uninstalling in the Magento Existing Extensions section

5. Select Uninstall in the column Actions
6. Click on Commit Changes and for the extension to be successfully removed
7. Click on Return to Admin
8. Go to System → Cache Management → Flush Magento Cache
Important Tips
1. After installing or uninstalling extensions, it is recommended to clear your cache.
2. You can do it from, Backend → System → Cache Management
3. Select all cache types, then choose the Refresh action and click the Submit button.
4. Don’t forget to re-login after both these procedures.

How to Make a Database Backup
1. Backup your data, before making any changes.
2. You can use a native backup tool in Admin Panel → System → Tools → Backups
3. Click the Database Backup button, now the tool is copying the data from your store’s database to your local database.
4. The Magento backup file appears in /var/backup/ after the procedure.

FAQ1. Error 404 after installation while browsing BW daily deal configuration in admin?Ans. If you get Error 404 after installation while browsing BW daily deal configuration in admin, please flush the cache, log out from admin and log in again. You can manage the configuration without 404 error now.
2. How to set product as Featured product for Daily deal sidebar widgets?Ans. To set product as featured product, while adding/editing product under oCodewire daily deal options select the featured product to yes and save. Your product is now set as Featured product.

3. Insert BW Daily deals widget in to CMS page?Ans. To insert the daily deal widget (Single product/multiple products), edit the CMS page in admin and click on the insert widget button if not using the WYSIWYG editor else click on the insert widget icon. Now select the oCodewire daily deal widget, select your template, save the CMS page. That's it.
