SUBJECT : "WAYS FOR WOMEN TO PARTICIPATE INPEACEBUILDING' SURVEY

The Regulatory Inst i tut ions Network (RegNe0 of the Austral ianNational University College, with the support of the Australian Aid of theDepartment of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Australian Government, willconduct a three (3) - year project entitled "Ways for Women to Participate inPeace Building (Mindanao)," which aims to map existing informal and formaljustice mechanisms and foster understanding among justice actors and peaceadvocates to develop a more gender-responsive justice for women.

To assess and gather insights and perspectives on how justice could bebetter served in the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao, the concernedjudges are hereby directed to answer the attached survey questionnaires, andthereafter mail them back to RegNet using the paid return envelopes providedherein.

Following your submission of the Professional and Needs Assessment Survey, a Focus Group Discussion/Workshopwill be conducted to discuss in detail the role and institutional and professional capacity and needs of Shari'ah andregular court judges in the Autonomous Region #f Muslim Mindanao.
