Shaun Tan’s graphic novel is our mentor text and model for the Unit 4 Embedded Assessment, which will require you to create a graphic representation of a short story.

Read the “Learning Focus” on p. 227.

Answer in your composition books:What are “new literacies”?

Consider the essential questions and develop answers to them in your SpringBoard book:
