TUNISIA

Objectives

After the success of the four CIPAM meetings which took place in

different countries (Morocco, Italy, Algeria) and before the sixth one

to be hold in Portugal in 2016, the fifth CIPAM will take place in

Tunisia in 2014. Like the other editions, the CIPAM 2014 is a

scientific meeting which covers all shares of the research and

development of medicinal and aromatic plants. The Congress of a

multidisciplinary nature is addressed to researchers, industrialists,

producers and herbalists.

The objectives of CIPAM are :

Provide an international platform for the exchange and

dissemination of recent scientific work on the MAP.

Provide many opportunities for participants to share their

experience and develop contacts and partnerships to build common

strategies in relation to MAP.

Encourage the cultivation, production, processing and storage of

MAP.

To demonstrate the medicinal, environmental and socio-economic

importance of PAM on regional, national, as well as on

international level.

Topics

The CIPAM 2014 Will cover various topics that have a direct

relationship with the Medicinal and Aromatic Plants and are

developing :

- Recovery and Transformation,

- Extraction methods,

- Chemistry and quality control of MAP and their products,

-Biological activity and toxicity,

-Ethnobotany, culture and conservation...

Submission of abstract

Abstract

The abstract of the text to be submitted should not

exceed one page A4. The text will be written in French

or English with Times New Roman size 13 and 1.5

spacing, justified. The title of the abstract will be

written in bold with capital letters (Times New Roman,

size 14). The names of the authors of the article (Times

New Roman, size 12), please point out the name of the

author presenting the work. The author addresses should

be written in italics (Times New Roman, size 10,

indicating the e-mail address of the author presenting

the work .The references must be indicated at the

bottom of the page and their corresponding numbers

should be written in brackets in the text.
