Obesity is a medical condition in which a person's excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have a negative effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy and increased health problems. Obesity is an abnormal accumulation of body fat, usually 20% or more over ideal body weight individuals. Obesity is associated with an increased risk of disease, disability, and death. (Hidajat,B.
