*In accordance with our policy to continually improve products, specifications in this catalogue are subject to change without notification. For more detailed information on specific products, please contact your nearest Tsubaki office.
Tsubaki offers a full line of mill and drag chain sprockets. They
are made from quality carbon steel material. Heat-treated carbon
steel provides long wear life, resists abrasion and withstands
heavy shock loads.
Tsubaki can also manufacture custom Mill and Drag chain
sprockets to your specific design and material requirements.
Tsubaki’s Welded Steel Mill and Drag chains can be supplied with a range of standard and special attachments. Shown below are some typical
arrangements available with hole centres and widths manufactured to your requirements.
These attachments are then welded to the chain using special welding procedures to give reliable and durable service life for your operation.
For further details on these or any special attachment requirements contact your nearest Tsubaki office.

Drag Chains move very heavy loads. They provide efficient and economical service when used in drag conveyor applications such asthose involving chips and sawdust. Like Mill Chains, Drag Chains combine strength, precision, impact resistance, and wearresistance. This versatile and economical chain is built to withstand punishing shock loads and abrasive conditions to provide longerwear life in your operation. Applications include chip and refuse conveying in sawmills. Easy attachment weldability.

Drag Chain
Tsubaki’s mill chains are designed and manufactured to provide strength, precision, impact resistance and wear resistance. This results in chains that are
built to withstand both punishing shock loads and abrasive conditions. Special design considerations include “stepped” pins for ease of assembly and to
protect the integrity of interference fits in the sidebars. Welded steel chains are found throughout the world in timber, pulp and paper mills and other indus-
tries where severe applications demand strength and reliability.
